There is absolutely nothing wrong with the way the Asian shows, the Canadian shows and the SA tour dates have been rolled out. 17

Well if we are honest about this that's not entirely true.  The dates were all over the internet and tickets actually on sale, yet no word at all from GNR.  Then a week or so later GNR finally updated their site or myspace with dates.

Some people are never satisfied-

I agree with Monkeychow I don't think this is a major issue although it is yet another incident in a long string of almost comedic screw ups.  I'm sure GNR could find a way to make it complicated to go down to the corner store and buy milk.

As for the "some people are never satisfied" - I agree, people will pick the shit out of anything they do - nothing will be good enough for some.

But, at the same time there are quite a lot of GNR fans with Battered Wife Syndrome!!!!

I looked at the thread and couldn't tell which dates specifically Fernando was referring to as unconfirmed??

I would assume that legally they probably can't just start another official website because of the contract with MLB with the current site - otherwise that would be the easiest solution.

Jesus this band is priceless at times!

Is this MLB fucking them around?  If that's the case they need to come out and bascially tell fans the GNR website site is BS and not to bother visiting it.

Better hope every single person wanting to attend those concerts is a HTGTH fan and gets "fernando's press release" before arranging travel etc.  Stiff shit if you're not.

I'm curious why is it called Black Friday.   I have always know black Friday to have been another term used for Good Friday at Easter time - the day Christ was supposed to have been crucified.

How did it become associated with Thanksgiving or the shopping day after it?

Yeah Adler's loving it, good on him!!

Hopefully positive stuff like this keeps him on the rails.

There is something special about seeing a band in a different city/ different country.  Whilst it may be on the same tour and a relatively similar set, the different locations add to the uniqueness of the experience.

I'm jealous - ohh to be in Europe again and for 3 months too!!

#1769 Re: The Sunset Strip » U2 - Acoustic Achtung Babies » 859 weeks ago

Are you going to all 3 of those dates Bono?

Man you are going to have an awesome time touring around watching them at all different locations.

Canadian VIP packages
There's been a miscommunication between us and I Love Access regarding the VIP packages for the Canadian tour. Just sit tight while we work it out.

That's cool.

So if GNR posted a comment about this then presumably they are making money off these packages then?

It's not just a reseller packaging up tickets with some other shit so they can sell them for more?
