Libertad (well, including Messages) is my favorite of all the post 93 albums from any of them. There's actually some really good stuff on there, but the mix doesn't present it in it's best light. I'd love to see what some of you thought if we could get it remixed to feature Slash's guitar a bit more. It's not that I don't like Contraband, but I'm more of a melodic rock guy than I am a fast paced rock guy. It's why I prefer Axl's (with Slash's contributions) songs like Estranged, Breakdown, etc over straight rockers like Garden of Eden. And while I'm not a big lyrics guy, Contraband was a pile of crap Lyrics wise...at least Libertad had some meaning behind it.
Nice to see you guys...I still check in every now and then, but hopefully there's more to talk about in the near future.

I love Libertad. Probably my favorite post GnR album of Slash's. I know I'm in the minority on that, but it doesn't change how I feel. The music is there, you just have to work a little to get to it.

Fuck. How do you buy tix? Do you have to enter a code???
I have a Citi card, so I got one using my credit card. The only way you can do it is to purchase the tix on that credit card.
I think the full sale starts today or tomorrow with no fan club requirement.

I'm pretty sure Slash's VIP package isn't a meet and greet. Make sure you know what you're buying before you buy it.
I got $177 seats in section 201. It's pricey, but it's probably the last time I'll see Aerosmith and my wife and brother are going, so I wanted to make sure we were close enough to see what was going on.

It looks like he was right too. One average at best album and no attempt to do anything but tour in the past what...5 or 6 years? Don't paint Axl as some hero that moved on. He's every bit as much of a loser in this game as Slash is and maybe even more of one.

I'm very interested in attending that September Virginia show. Should have plenty of money saved up by then. I know some friends that may join this with me!
I talked my brother into going to that show too. He lives near Richmond, so we can handle that commute. Has anyone seen any presale passwords for this? I want to get the best seats I can get.

I'd never heard the song before (other than live in Vegas). It came on sirius this week and it's not really good with the who version either imo.
