Curious about this. Seems it'll get by without major backlash/disappointment. I don't think it'll generate the revenue others had. IMHO it'll be the weakest of the reboots $$$wise. I think Blank Panther & Infinity Wars already kinda stole the thunder for the years blockbuster.
IMHO The Matrix needs a reboot. It's time.

It's gonna be a big week!
I hereby demand, and will do so officially tomorrow, that the Department of Justice look into whether or not the FBI/DOJ infiltrated or surveilled the Trump Campaign for Political Purposes - and if any such demands or requests were made by people within the Obama Administration!

Shucks, missed this thread. I've never been overseas, would love to go. How is it, how's London? Massive.
I'd bet tourism at near record highs with the wedding this weekend.
#1784 Re: Guns N' Roses » Which version of Appetite did you buy? » 417 weeks ago
Didn't really occur to me to buy it. CD might be the last newly released album I bought. (I think I bought a Black Crowes GH since then, and maybe 1 or 2 others).
I might buy the 2CD Deluxe Edition. Otherwise maybe just the 2 NR demos off Amazon or something. Not in a rush. As someone else said I'll stop into Best Buy after Christmas & see what kinda 90% clearance bin it's in.

I hope they do. I'm most excited for the 2 November Rain demos. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for this thing to leak, but there isn't a section for it yet on hasitleaked dot com.
Yeah, I always loved the demos to NR, both acoustic & piano. Would love for them to be epically polished up to see how they compare to the studio track. Always felt NR was overproduced.

Not sure what this means yet, but seems ominous.
Warning ignored. So here it goes.

Pretty good Opinion piece on the leaving out of OIAM. I gotta say, if anyone thinks they're 'doing wrong' or 'burying history' over this, thats just a weak POV. We all change, and have regrets. The present is the time to do what we can't change from the past.

Bobby Kennedy For President on Netflix is really good. Great insights, man this country woulda become so much different had he become President. Definitely would've been a transformative President.
It's poorly stretched into 4 episodes (1 hour each). Either cut it to 3 or dive deeper into his upbringing & the Kennedy family. Episode 4 is a 1 hour dud. While I don't think there's really any conspiracies with RFK, but definitely some strange things with the family in general, makes one wonder (JFK, RFK, JFK Jr etc)

Gonna try & chime in on a few subjects.
Avanatti's doing this pro-bono, so to speak. He doesn't care about getting paid, he's getting "payed" by getting his name & law firm business out there onto CNN, MSNBC, ABC, NBC etc... No different than Johnny Cochoran working on OJ's case. In fact I think all his lawyers took the case for minimal charges. Anyway Avanatti's set for life as far as a law career. Heck, even a book deal. A year ago he was probably some phone book attorney.
I also don't know how he's releasing some info. I really haven't followed the details too closely. I know a lawyer can 'subpoena' information, however I would think the documents need to remain confidential until the case is complete. Possibly I'm wrong on that or maybe the subpoena-er or -ee can.
Not sure about Biden 2020. Possibly. I think he's too old tho in my mind, unless he's gunning for a 1 term Presidency. Once someone hits 80 they really take a turn. I heard it said that Dems will throw out old names, until 2018 is complete, then a new batch of potentials will rise. Personally, I think Tom Wolf, governor of PA is going to run. He's curiously laid low on marijuana legalization (medical only), and wasn't outspoken over guns. There's a photo of him with Jeff Lurie and Meek Mill at a Sixers game, and I know Robert Kraft was even involved & visited Meek Mill in prison. I honestly think Lurie & Kraft are going to spearhead the financeers of his campaign getting wealthy Northeasterners to back him. We shall see but a 2nd term Governor of a swing state, who's fairly moderate yet leans left, progessive. It's just such a fit. Keep an eye out for him.
I don't think Bernie will run, if he does I don't see him getting the same rocketship launched support. He really came outta nowhere last time. I remember him just being the aloof wierd guy at the debates early on. And Biden didn't run because he (sorta) bowed out to allow for Hillary to run.
I guess I'm curious about Trump in 2020. I'm not sure whether he'll run or not. I think he doesn't want to, but his ego doesn't want to cave in. I still believe he goes down in the Mueller probe, but if not, and his Presidency is fairly in tact, I can see him skating out saying he accomplished all he set out to do. I'm not sure Jeb will run. I think he won't if he's up against Trump again (unless Trumps support is terrible), while GOPers may want 'The Good Ole Days' again like when they supported W over Gore due to 'Family Values' over a dynamite economy, I think Jeb knows he wasn't able to at all overcome what Trump was throwing at him. I see Kasich running again, Rubio only if Trump doesn't run & he looks like a frontrunner, he's still young & I think he's gonna hold out until he has that lane into the Presidency open up wide. I don't see Republicans running as many candidates this time around, or at least some won't run (Christie)

My concern over alot of this is Russia/Putin forming a New World Order, with Russia, USA, NK, China at the top of the alliance. Are we beginning to step away from our alliance with Europe?
