Worst singles? ?? 2 number ones off contraband, two number ones off apocalyptic love.

I think hes done fine

I think he could have done better.

Contraband- should have released "you got no right" instead of "dirty little thing"
Libertad- should have released "grave dancer" instead of "get out the door"
Apocalyptic Love- should have released "anastaysia" instead of "your a lie"

Slash always picks the worst cock rock singles...

VR could have done so much better with VR II if they had put "Messages" on the abum and led the album out with that as the first single, make a beautiful video dedicated to those that died in 9/11 and give all single proceeds to a 9/11 charity.
Big news, big splash, big sales, big money to the victims families: everybody wins.

Agree with you Gibbo, Far & Away would be a winner, stick it in a Rom Com movie to get the chicks into it and get it on mainsteream radio..

Not the 52nd birthday present Uncle Axl was hoping for.

"Rose lawyer Geoffrey Neri said during the Jan. 31 hearing that the singer agreed to allow the use of “Welcome to the Jungle” in the video game only if no images of the old GNR lineup or of Slash’s subsequent band, Velvet Revolver, were used"

I wonder how Axl explained that one to Duff...now that they are supposed to be frinds an' all.

That VR piece really bothers me...pure venom.

Honest question: How can anyone consider THIS band their favourite band when they've done absolutely nothing?  I ask that only because people refer to this band as their favourite.

It's a form of self harm surely, to have GnR as your fave band.  Where's that stick?  I need to hit myself again.

What I find really sad is that I found myself reading this and thinking "Jesus Bumble, you're going to get fucking hung drawn and quartered for this!"

Its terrible that we have grown accoustomed to band members sounding stupid as they try to deal with the impossible situation of not directly blaming Axl/Team Brazil for the abysmal management strategy around this band.

"I'm allowed to my own solos"...."stuff gets in the way"..."the Hall Of Fame to come up with something but they had it in their mind that it was their way or no way"....

all fucking bullshit to cover for the boss and his crew...

You even see weeners like Jarmo slam down Bumble when he had the audacity to complain about the set up around their French wedding gig...

It seems that the hangers on and yes men get free reign to behave like assholes to those who worked hard to build and drive the gravy train they now ride upon..

In fact, when you look at the published "enemy list" below, it would seem that anyone professional who had any hand or part in making GNR what it was today gets the treatment.

I'm willing to bet that at least 80% of the current line up will be on that list within the next two years.

And you expect an album from this nest of vipers?

#180 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » SLASH 'Wasn't Disappointed' By AXL ROSE's Decision To Skip RnRHoF » 658 weeks ago

Twelve years ago I had a bad break up with a super hot girl I'd been with for four years.
She could be a giant pain in the ass and my friends often hated her BUT we had some great times, freaky sex, some terrible arguments and some unforgettable tender moments.

We are both married to other people and are happy.

Do I wish her the best? YES.
Do I want to meet her at some party, wedding etc with my wife in tow? HELL NO.

Would I take her back? HELL NO.

Slash just described the exact same situation with Axl..

There is no revisionist, media manipulation, machiavellian masterplan that some of you insist on trying to attach to Slash.
Its just a guy whose opinion and feelings about someone and something have changed over the years.

He's not thinking about that process as much as we the nutso GNR fans do.
He's just talking on a particular day and time.
He's not keeping all of his interviews on a forum somewhere so he can check that he keeps his story WATERTIGHT like some of you imagine he should.
Some perspective here would be good.
