Fuck all that. I guess nobody agrees comparing Obama’s numbers to Trump is total bullshit due to the environments around each.

It’s stupid to try to give complete credit of the economy to any president. I don’t care how good/bad the numbers are. Sure, Trump’s pro-business persona is going to encourage corporations to do some things they may have hesitated on during Obama. But to suggest that every positive aspect is due to Trump? Nope.

Obama didn’t deserve the accolades MSNBC threw his way regarding the economy. But he did bailout the auto-industry, or rather he and his party in Congress did. And I can’t see how you can argue that was a bad thing. I certainly screeched like an idiot when it happened, but I’ve repeatedly admitted I was wrong.

That’s why I laugh when partisan hacks try to label me one too. I’m one of the few who don’t vote a straight ticket and label the other side as evil zealots.

The reality is that automation is the low skilled workers enemy. Eventually we’ll all be replaced, even doctors and lawyers. Those who think burger flippers deserve $15 an hour are just as clueless as those who think a major economic and employment crisis isn’t right over the horizon.

If Obama was pres right now he would be getting these numbers. The deregulation, tax cut, and confidence is causing this.

I’m assuming you mean “wouldn’t”. Yea, the tax cut certainly helped, and in certain industries, sure, deregulation. But Trump just signed a bill, same as Obama. Congress deserves the bulk of the credit.

American businesses are going to find a way to be successful. It’s the workers who get fucked regardless of who’s in power. Now I could go on a rant about immigration and a personal story to boot and blame the left. But the reality is Republicans don’t give a fuck either.

Short of absurd regulations, businesses are going to find a way to profit. Obama wanted to end coal, so it’s obviously going to rebound under Trump. But like many similar industries, its days are numbered.

Automation is real. It’s happening. It’s going to be here sooner rather than later. Worrying about how much money Wall Street manufactured that day isn’t going to matter when 50% of the country is unemployed because of republicans and the other half might as well be unemployed because of Democrats taxing at 99%.

Who is that? Why do you keep bringing her up?

She is on MSNBC. She is beyond stupid.

Damn SG, you seem to watch more MSNBC than Mitch & SLC put together big_smile

You watch MSNBC like Flagg watches Hannity. 22

I’m confused. Do you think I watch Hannity?  The guy is a total sychophant. Sure I liked his rhetoric 17 years ago as a young college republican when he had Alan Colmes beside him. But he’s a walking hypocrite, only slightly better than Alex Jones.

Carlson is my favorite pundit if I had to choose, but he’s more interested as of late finding far left nut jobs he can scream at rather than make an intelligent point. If you combine Bill Maher and Tucker Carlson, you might have something.

Joy Reid is a bigot and every moment she’s allowed on the air is more proof the manufactured outrage from the left is well, manufactured.

Anyone else watch Our Cartoon President?  I find it hysterical.

Will all the Democrats who suddenly found their testicles when it comes to Russia demand we turn Iran into a wasteland after the first Iranian sponsored terrorist attacks within the US?  Or will they want Trump to follow in the footsteps of Obama, pay Iran in cash, and claim a treaty his own party rejected in the Senate.

You mark that yourself?  It's almost like you didn't know the Democrats took both houses in 2006 and Obama the Presidency in 2008.  Or that the GOP took the house in 2010 and Senate in 2014.  It's almost as if trying to claim a political party deserves sole credit for good or bad shit is bunk.

Mitch thinks Bernie was a legitimate candidate with plausible and realistic legislative ideas. I’ll be god damned if he gets to condescend to anyone about financial practicality.

You should run for office, Mitch. Hire SLC as your campaign manager.

I'm sure you'll dismiss all of this as some liberal judge hell bent on creating his own laws.

It’ll be overturned long before it makes it to SCOTUS. Or do you think sales of Obama’s book while he was in office was a violation. Every. Single. Ruling. Against. Trump. Has. Been. Overturned. Every. Single. One.

Lol outlandish claim.

See you completely disregarded the stupidity of the  tariffs. I assume I’ll get a response after Tucker tonight right?

Outlandish claim? It’s an objective truth. I’m not required to participate in a conversation I didn’t join, just because you want a new forum to attack me.

My opinion on tariffs, specifically the ones you want to discuss, is largely misinformed. Unlike you, I don’t choose to embarrass myself by regurgitating some partisan talking point I’ve done little if any research to verify.  Largely you are alone in this regard. Nothing you say deviates from the far left point of view. I voted for fucking Hillary Clinton. So fuck you for saying I’m some Carlson clone. I think for my fucking self.

EU and Trump announced today they’ll work to avoid any fucking tariffs. The President-elect of Mexico wrote to Trump saying he wants to iron out a new NAFTA. And if you think Trudeau wants to fuck with the US, the nation that funds 40% of his economy, think again. Trump’s antics work. China’s the fucking problem. They’re our biggest adversary, with Russia close behind. But none of your bullshit talking points even mention them or that reality.
