#1881 Re: Guns N' Roses » Fernando's link to leaks? And the craziness that is gnr » 873 weeks ago

My understanding was that early on a number of the leaks were sourced from a CD/tracks that Fernando had played/given to some friends.  They then presumably gave them to friends of friends who then leaked them or traded them to people who leaked them, like MSL.

From what I understood, the last big lots of leaks from MSL were effectively sourced right back to Axl's Malibu back door (so to speak).  I'm not saying Fernando intentionally leaked them (because I wouldn't have a clue), perhaps he naievly did something nice for a friend by sharing some demos and he got screwed over by them.

Then there is another school of thought, perhaps at some point in time some of the leaks were intentional.  I don't necessarily mean intentional by Axl and/or the record company collectively, but perhaps people invovled in the GNR camp or the record company with vested interests to get this thing rolling intentionally leaked things to scare Axl into action.  Could Fernando or Beta or someone in the record company be intentinoally behind one of the leaks at some point - maybe?

I don't believe the antiquiet leaks had anything to do with Fernando and the original stuff he supposedly distributed to friends.  The GNR camp seemed to be pretty sure it was someone from UMG - with Merck receiving much of the finger pointing.

#1882 Re: Guns N' Roses » So where does GN'R stand right now and what is the current news? » 873 weeks ago

^ Or perhaps Axl has told everyone (Nu and Old GNR) that nothing is going to happen so they might as well move on.  He may have told Frank and the other guys that he is taking his bat and ball back to Malibu and it's game over.

If it was the audio that was the problem then they would just disable that and leave the video footage like they do with other vids, leaving this message:

This video contains an audio track that has not been authorized by all copyright holders. The audio has been disabled.

Have you guys seen this youtube vid featuring all things GNR both new and old?  I think it's fantastic.  Take the first 2 minutes or so and put it to one of the new songs and release that as a music video pronto.  Done, finished, good.

That's fucking unreal....and that's just with the stuff that's availaible to us...imagine what a killer video could be made from the full vault type footage it's said GNR have!

Here is a great case on point of another topic we were discussing about that peanut "UziSuicidal LLC" removing vids.

Click on that link Faldor posted and it's been removed due to that guy.

I swear he is a GNR fan that posts on these message boards.

Unfortuantely I think that there may be some legal undertones to that message.  Just my guess.

Complete waste of time if there is.  Let the whole bloody thing go and move on.

#1887 Re: Guns N' Roses » Axl Rose just saw The Hangover w/Zakk Wylde in Indiana » 875 weeks ago

Yeah, it's nice to see that he apparently has some friends outside of the Lebeis's, Del and Bach.

I was starting to wonder.....

#1888 Re: Guns N' Roses » No Checkmate remains. » 875 weeks ago

Yeah I saw that, but it doesn't mean he isn't the guy asking for vids to be removed either.  I thought that name was bascially defunct now from an official GNR capacity, plus it's Uzi Suicide not Uzi Suicidal anyhow.  I tend to think if the removals aren't coming from this person then - it's a BIG coincidence.

Perhaps he put that post in his "about me" section to deflect heat from himself.  This isn't the first time it has been questioned whether he is the guy getting vids pulled.

Dunno hard to tell either way - at once stage wasn't it Tsunami that used to pull all the GNR vids?

#1889 Re: Guns N' Roses » No Checkmate remains. » 875 weeks ago

I believe this is the youtube site of the guy that complains under the name UzisuicidalLLC  and gets the vids removed.  He then has some of the vids he gets removed plus other GNR ones on his own youtube page:

http://www.youtube.com/user/UziSuicidalLLC

He complains and gets demo leaks removed, plus he has also had live footage removed as well.  Live footage that has then been posted on his own youtube account.

I suppose if people wanted to be wankers they could continually claim copyright on the vids he posts and get them taken down every time he puts them up.

#1890 Re: Guns N' Roses » No Checkmate remains. » 875 weeks ago

Yeah I really wish GNR would go after that guy too.  He is a complete tool.  He actually costs the band in the sense of getting vidoes etc removed that in some respects actually provide free promotion for the band.

He then has the hide to post the same shit on his own site that he certainly doesn't own!

The fact that he effectively misrepresents himself to be the copywrite owner of the material is what he needs a big kick in the rectum for!
