Yeah this is a real shame. Despite all the other shit that went with the guy he was fucken talented! I regret not going to a concert of his when he played here. He created some awesome music and was a sensational entertainer. Damn the guy had some moves!! Amazing talent and a big loss.
I agree with others, we are unlikely to ever see another talent/phenomenon like him again. He was almost one of a kind, someone like him only comes along once in a lifetime.
RIP

Man this is a tough match up, my two favourites. I had to go Star Wars it had a bigger impact on me.

I'm getting a bit of a Wonka Bar just watching all the big scalps that movie is taking
You can blame me for the Wonka nomination, but that's only because T2 and Star Wars were already nominated. They are my two favourite films! If either of those go up against Wonka, then my boot will be placed firmly up Wonka's butt!

She was also fired by the band during the 80's which fits with what Slash said too.

It's "Arlett Vereecke" the bands publicist Slash was referring to. She was publicist for GNR back in the 80's so that fits and she was VR's publicist too at one point, so that places her in the picture with Slash and Perla more recently.

Hey kids, it seems a certain unnamed individual, unnamed mostly because only a handful of people know or care who she is, is spewing really hateful shit about my wife & I to anybody on the net that will pick it up. I know this psycho woman well, she was once involved in GnR's career in the 80's but got fired because she's.........well, psycho. And, trust me everybody who has ever worked with her will attest to that with utmost enthusiasm. She also attempted a partnership with my wife not long ago, but her less than stable behaviour was the catalyst for an abrupt end to that relationship as well. So, now she is bitter & pissed off & trying as hard as she can to get attention through the media with a smear campaign using my mom's passing as her vehicle. Normally I wouldn't react to this nonsense & Perla & I wouldn't be fazed by her ranting, but the accusations she is spitting about the relationship between my mom & my wife & I are way below the belt & obviously intended to be as harmful as possible. I will handle this how I see fit, but I wanted my family, friends & fans to know that this individual is an intensely vindictive person who is out for blood anyway she can get it & her statements have absolutely no merit whatsoever. So, don't buy in to her bullshit, she's desperate for attention, & consumed with some misplaced entitlement or something worse.Yours truly,

It could be Adrianna Smith he's referring to??

Yeah no contest on this one for me. I still remember when I first saw T2 at the movies when it came out. I was blown away!!!!! At the time for me the special effects, story, action etc was fucken awesome.
The only downside is that seemed to be one of the first films that really started the whole special effects thing (well for me anyhow) but now when I see all the computerised stuff, it's kinda "hmm well..."

I simply don't understand why you wouldn't just throw out a re-release with different artwork, a fixed up booklet and a bonus disc with a couple of new tracks maybe a live DVD. I mean shit what have they got to lose?? If they are sitting in the vault then they aren't earning a $ so just flick a couple of them out now.
But hey, they have missed every other ship that has sailed from the GN'R port so why would this be any different.

Australia always gets screwed.
In this case I don't believe so. Poor ticket sales were the reason for the cancellation from what I read in an article:
New Kids on the Block announced on their website yesterday they were cancelling their Australian tour, blaming the “recession's stranglehold on the world's economies”.
and not being a NKOTB fan I have to say that is a complete blessing that they won't be coming.
