Sadly I think it's just wishful thinking.
Bascially Ron is going to continue to do his own thing, but won't let it interfere with things in the unlikely event Axl actually decides to do something.

He is just trying to make sure it doesn't create any waves with GNR fans. I already noticed at HTGTH when this info was posted people were like "WTF that must mean there is no chance of a tour this year". lol
They must have been living under a rock if they thought the writing wasn't already on the wall for no tour.
I don't believe there are any plans at all that's why this won't interfere with it.

The more this whole thing goes on, the more comparison I draw between Axl Rose and Elvis Presley.
Other then the fact that Elvis was out touring constantly and consistantly released albums, everything else is really similar.
That's a very good analogy.
Although in this case one of the guys is bascially dead, even though people are still convinced they spot him from time to time.
In comparison the other guy is a household name, still sells shitload of records and has legions of dedicated fans.
Oh yeah the first guy I was referring to is Axl and the second guy is Elvis.
