Axl Rose has been having mood swings. The Guns N’ Roses front man, an admitted manic-depressive, has fired and rehired famed manager Irving Azoff at least three times in the last five weeks, according to a source. The reclusive rocker is said to be resisting Azoff’s pleas to try to revive sales of the band’s recent album, “Chinese Democracy.” “Axl doesn’t want anything to do with it,” says the insider. “He won’t come out of his house.”
A source close to Azoff admits, “Axl is Axl. People get hired and fired all the time in this business.”
But Azoff’s rep says that, as of last week, he and Rose are talking again: “We’re in daily contact with Axl, and we look forward to continuing to support him and Guns N’ Roses.”

Does axl actually admit to being manic depressive, i didn't realise that.
I wouldn't be surprised if the business relations had been strained by the entire way the saga played out.
If they've sorted it out again now lets hope a tour can get started and GNR can move forward from this episode

Many times and I know very few fans sadly enough have any sympathy for him, but being Bi-polar isn't a choice.
If you listen to the "Eddie Trunk" show from 3 years ago, Axl says he was suicidal before a concert in the 90's and all it took for him to show up, although late was "I Wanna Be Somebody" by Wasp.

He denied it in the chats:
"I've not been diagnosed as being bipolar though many misconstrue statements I made earlier as alluding to such and unfortunately there's been an abundance of misguided or unqualified speculation of various events but I definitely can relate to needing my own space.
In my world all bi polar means (and not to offend or make light of those suffering from a genuine condition or involved with those who are) is that someone can try to take cheap uneducated shots or try to claim I'm bipolar thus justifying why they should get paid a financial settlement for whatever nonsense they're up to. Fortunately that hasn't proved successful."
In one of his interviews in 1990 or something he said he had been to clinics seeing specialists, filling in the questionaires and they told him then he was likely bipolar.

Axl was supposed to have visited MYGNR regularly according to one of the mods, although his account was on hidden. It stopped around 4 weeks ago, shortly after the Stephanie Seymour news was reported.
