two proud guys who each believe they were wronged and each believe they are right. its a damn shame. wasted years that will never be. i really felt that even in 93 axl was peaking. saw them on the skin n bones tour in iowa in 93 and damn the vocals were like razors. agree with some of the posts about the over importance of axl's ballads. you know tho.....each original member had so much to offer in so many different ways. no doubt when steven left, the swing of the band changed. izzy mentioned this and i agree. losing izzy was a killer for many reasons but the biggest would be the bridge he may have been between axl and slash not to mention the incredible songwriting. slash is and was iconic. i dont know what else to say. i dont know why we beat ourselves up trying to dissect everything. its been so long. its very sad. i still think il see them on stage together again.

hey guys i was wondering if any of you know where this "movie" will be playing? i just cant find any info on what theaters it will be playing at. some of you seem to already know. i live in elgin, illinois. will they be announcing what theaters? probably be selected theaters i would think. any info would be appreciated. thanks all..........:beer:

i would. i'd take my son whos eleven and accomponied me to the allstate show in '11. i'd also take my eight year old daughter with also cuz i felt she was to young to go to the allstate show. i'l buy the blu-ray to if there is one. always wanted to have a blu ray of the band. sure i'd rather they never broke up and i'd rather a classic old show was done right but hey, this is what i got. i'm a fan of that fucker mr. rose. i dont mind sitting alone in movie theaters. actually prefer it. when i take my kids to a big movie, i like to wait and go when no one is hardly there. also, i actually had this idea of famous concerts being brought to the big screen over 20 years ago. but no, i dont think many people will go to say the least.

i tried to keep it in the realms of possibility. with that said, it would be a tough set but hell, they played a shitload in japan a few years back and a few other shows. didnt bother to factor in the solos but whtever. didnt include coma or locomotive among others cuz i think hed struggle with those. not that he doesnt struggle with twat but i put it in my set anyway. i think he might be able to get better at it and find his way if he did it(twat)more than once a year or whatever.

for the sake of moving foward with this thread, lets assume that all original members are there and accept the honor together. i would love to read everyones opinion on 2 things.........1) who will induct them in? AND 2) again, assuming they play together, what will they play? really want to read what u all think..........thanx
