I don't think it's a hoard. Both songs were newly registered on ASCAP so that suggests they are tied to a release which has now leaked. They are registered as one song so who knows what that means. Either they are both on the vinyl or there is another release coming. Judging by the live show these vocals may even be new.

Or an album might be in play.

The vinyl must have 2 new songs then. That came out of left field.

Pretty impressed with his vocals on The General. He is very much on point for a 61 year old man singing in a falsetto. Even though the videos Ive watched are poop quality he sounds pretty good on everything else as well. Just when I think I'm out and have gotten closure, they pull me back in.
He even sounds okay on SCOM.

The vocals may be new then?

The ASCAP listing having both the songs gets even more confusing.
My three theories for it now:
1) It's meant to be two separate listings and the TB Elite Management Team fucked up
2) It's meant to be together on a full album-like release but it's split up for the B-Side.
3) Monsters was meant to be a hidden track on the end of The General on the Perhaps vinyl
Yeah I'm even more confused than before now.

So now he's back to singing good again? Literally shocked he's pulling off The General.

Deadwood.
Still one of the best shows ever created. Ian McShane is on the level of James Gandolfini here. A true masterclass. Dialogue is of course out of this world, nothing like it.
I do not believe Milch really wrote the Deadwood movie. The drop in quality is massive.

I always found it incredible how a song could be played on the radio and not a single copy surfaced from it. How would they even know how to contact all these tape enthusiasts and demand they shut it down? That is some NSA type shit.
The title and subject matter of the song was fitting I suppose.

Unless Slash is attempting to emulate Finck and BH he is not playing on this track. No way.
I don't know about a masterpiece...but yeah both these songs would've been on the album in a perfect world.
This is the kinda stuff I was expecting for Chinese Democracy on day one and it's unfortunate it took so long for tracks like this to surface.
We really need this in better quality.
Come on now, those vocal lines are killer.
This is a serious song too, while most of CD just feels like whatever. An album with this, OMG, State of Grace etc. would be a much more credible album with a unifying sound. Remove the "UYI 3" type songs like TWAT and The Blues to a separate EP, then make CD be dark and gritty like this. Massive album.
