I like almost all of the old skid row albums, and baz's solo stuff.

The new skid row I've been unable to get into. I tried...I had visions of liking it and baz separately like how I enjoy both chinese democracy and velvet revolver but I just can't seem to make it happen.

As for the old records, everyone loves Slave to the Grind more, but I'm a bit older school....I think the first album was amazing.

I'm a hardcore Slave fan... the AFD of the 90s! Almost...

I don't get what happened with them. Snake, Rachel Bolan, Scotti were amazing songwriters and players. But without Baz (and Rob Affuso) they suck, unfortunately, although Baz had less to do with the music than Axl, supposedly. Still love old Skid Row.

The Dead Daises With Slash Sample Leaks Online LISTEN
by Paul Cashmere on April 5, 2013

A 50-second sample believed to be a finished mix of The Dead Daisies featuring Slash song ‘Lock ‘N’ Load’ has been discovered online.

The track is believed to have been uploaded as a preview for media to listen to next week prior to the song’s official release before the band’s Australian Aerosmith dates.

The Dead Daisies is an Australian supergroup featuring Noiseworks singer Jon Stevens and Guns ‘N’ Roses guitarist Richard Fortus with Charley Drayton (Divinyls, Cold Chisel) on drums, David Lowy (Red Phoenix, The Angels) on guitar, Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy) on bass and Clayton Doley on Hammond organ.

‘Lock ‘N’ Load’ was co-written by Slash and Jon Stevens.

The Dead Daisies were seen recently on tour with ZZ Top in Australia and will be the special guests of Aerosmith in Dunedin, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Check out what we believe to be the first listen of the final mix of The Dead Daisies debut ‘Lock ‘N’ Load’.

Alter Bridge is now a lesser band than Slash and the Conspirators.

Bullshit.

Alter Bridge are on par with the original GNR.

Bullshit. You have absolutely no clue about original GN'R.

Slash is many many pegs below that level in his solo material.

That's closer to the truth. I think overall AB is the bigger band, although Slash can outsell them in many countries.

I'm not plugging the new record already. Just thinking out loud. The album won't happen until the AB cycle is done next year. iiii]; )'

Other than Axl, who has gone on record in his defense?

It's obvious that none of the bad cops would defend Serpico! 16

Interesting!

On a separate note, There we have it Ali, proof that Axl was the sole dick regarding the HOF not Izzy. If Axl had been there Izzy would have too.

Izzy loves Axl, for sure. He travels a lot, then the fuckhead doesn't even show up, yet Izzy plays with him and legitimizes his Guns N' Roses... can't stop wondering. If I were the guy, I'd have said 'fuck you' and played with the rest of the band at the HOF. But Izzy said no to the others and saved Axl's ass. A bit.
