He left Sao Paulo around 11:30 PM and basically arrived in Porto Alegre at the stage. One of the opening acts basically left because of that, the other played only three songs, Baz played his normal set.
Everybody blamed Rio storm and bureaucracy for forensics, but later on the dinner news came out from Ellen herself.
Well, the Budapest show in 2006 was scheduled for 9:00 PM. They started to play the intro at 11:55 PM. The event's organizator later said that Axl arrived to the Budapest airport at 10:30 PM and a bunch of policemen secured his way to the arena to avoid the riot. Axl spent a bit more time in Milano than the band. Then he needed a little rest after the flight.
Axl does care about the fans.
Lets face it, the guy is a dick. Know of any other artists who do this consistently? Nope.

The best quote on that facebook page was a girl who said "You're all bitching now, but when GnR come on you'll all be singing along to 'Living on a Prayer.'"
I shit you not.

The young hipsters are a bit dramatic, but no different than how the GnR peeps reacted to opening acts such as Mix Master Mike etc.

He's more relevant than GNR on this line up. There are a few more hip hop acts performing too.. Not their crowd. Not at all. They stick out like a sore thumb. Hope they play well and show the audience a good time but I doubt many will be paying attention. I've been too this festival before. I can't see it working.
Wouldn't mind going again and seeing The Avett Brothers and Nas though. Few others on that list as well. Rest are crap.
Who booked them for this? They must be total morons. Can't wait to see how the crowd reacts when they come out, sheesh.

Read any of those petition comments? Yikes.
Really sad to read those comments on Facebook too. Then even more sad to think how irrelevant GNR is in today's' music scene. The worst is reading forums dedicated to GNR and realizing half the posters practically feel the same way (myself included to a degree.)

Infestation is one of the best albums from an 80's band I've heard in years. I can't believe a group of 50 year olds put this out. In fact I'd rate it alongside some of their best work. I give it a 9/10.
Seriously. It's awesome.

getting old sucks
It's a lot more work. You have to work twice as hard to get about half the results.
Turn it around with the diet and exercise. You'll be glad you did.

My wife wants to take a pole dancing class. I support her 100% in this endeavor.
Quit being so analytical about all this, you're too insecure.

Why did he get the boot again?
