I loved the original star wars trilogy. As for the prequels - Episode one was a complete kids movie for me (I was in the Jar Jar binks hate fan club too. Jesus just me thinking of him accidentally dropping that spanner into the pod racer or whather it was, was so childish and lame!!! - then I suppose so was some of the ewok battle in Return of the Jedi). No.'s II & III were much better films though.
I gotta say my biggest gripe with the prequels was the overuse of special effects particurly the overuse of computer generated characters. Give me an actor in a storm troopers uniform hitting his head walking through a door any day over all the fake shit.

Yeah I seem to recall there being shit going down in the past because of her poking her nose into VR's business affairs and it caused tension with the other band members.

No - I have just been laughing at cheap school boy humour. Even if it's politically incorrect to do so.
If someone showed that girl how to put her make up on properly, particualrly around her eyes I'm sure she would look fine.

So it's the first brand new album he has bought in 15 years. Either he stopped listening to any new music or simply started downloading stuff. I hope he paid for the downloads.
I remember him whingeing how people weren't buying his CD when it came out - well it doesn't sound like he has been supporting other artists during the last 15 years by buying their CD?

He's certainly not youthful now!
At the time there was something fun about him - he was just like a naiive kid having fun living his dream.
I didn't even notice Ferrer at the 3 concerts I went to. He was simply a homogenous drummer to me.

I think you have summed it up Tommie.
His loose and youthful energetic style of drumming really appealed to me.
Unfortunately as a person he has never been able to sort his shit out. Consequently he cops the easy jibes about living in the past, not moving on etc etc.
I certaintly don't hate him and in fact I think he is the best GN'R drummer - not maybe the most technically correct, but that isn't everything. It's the vibe and the feel etc. But the guy has done himself no favours to endear himself to fans (or his exband mates) since he left GN'R, simply by the lifestyle he leads.

I agree they may get some decent sales figures if Joe Average was made aware that the album was even out. The sales figures are pushing shit up hill with the lack of promo.
