if what that woman on the radio said was true about him freaking out in the car park, and i think it probably is, you gotta wonder about how healthy his mind is.
What was said on the radio? I missed this

Seriously dodgy vibe in that place last night. Frank had to keep drumming between songs just to drown out the booing... no joke
#233 Re: Guns N' Roses » Dublin, Ireland - September 1, 2010 (The O2) » 810 weeks ago
I was up close to the stage I saw both bottles being thrown. Security was an absolute joke people weren't even searched. There were fights in the crowd and security didnt even intervene.
I've been to a good few concerts in the O2 and they NEVER sell bottles. If you buy a bottled drink it gets poured into a plastic cup.
I don't know what the fuck they were thinking.
Guns came out on flying form. After they returned to the stage axl avoided getting close to the crowd and just stood in place most of the night. Not only did he seem angry, he seemed actually sad.
the bottles should never have been allowed and people throwing things should have been shot.
All that BS aside though, the show was great the band were on fire, and standing in place all night, meant that axl could deliver a near perfect vocal performance !! No joke, he sounded better than on record in a live setting

If Wolfgang can't get the time off school to track the bass, they should look into getting that Guy from Chickenfoot to do it. He'd be a good fit for Van Halen
#237 Re: Guns N' Roses » GN'R Twitter Updates » 810 weeks ago
The sad part is there are people who believe it still. Smart people. Even smart people who post on this fourm. It blows my mind but they always justify it with something along the lines of "I have a hard time believing Axl would have any
Sounds like Evolution vs Creationism
.
Personally I don't believe him. I just don't really mind whether he's lying or not because really, all I care about is enjoying the music.
If Adolf Hitler had written the Illusions or Chinese Democracy, I'd listen to it. I wouldn't believe a single word that cam out of his mouth, but if I liked the music I'd listen to it.
That's an extreme example that's gonna bit me in the ass if I ever run for president.
He stepped over my personal boundary years ago. Namely after the 13 Tuesdays fiasco. I expect honesty from everyone whether I've met them in person or not.
He's selling a product I happen to like. I don't identify with him but I enjoy the product.
There is a hell of a lot wrong with Axl rose. The fucking problem is I happen to put a higher value on the things that he's got right.
#238 Re: Guns N' Roses » Leeds, United Kingdom - August 29, 2010 (Leeds Festival) » 810 weeks ago
^^ Yeah your right. The crowd at a festival can never really be a reflection of any one band. I think that's why there can be more trouble at festivals than at normal shows. If you got a group of big group of indy kids up front who would never go to a GNR show and are spurring each other on shit gets thrown at band members and walk offs happen.
That's what happened at download last time I'm guessing but not indy kids obviously

why do some of you use the crowd at Leeds as a measure of Gn´R´s ability to draw a crowd or as a measure of how successful the show was. It´s a massive fucking music festival for christ´s sake. the crowd is there regardless of Gn´R or not.
To a certain extent, but in the videos there seems to be a lot of singing along and excitement rather than a lacklustre involvement as one might expect
