Having sex with Jenna Jamieson would be like throwing a sausage down a hallway or dangling a worm over a bucket.

may i ask how did you get your hands on that?

A good friend of mine who knows I have a passion for this stuff was kind enough to help hook me up with it.

No one can say you aren't a hardcore collector.:haha: Nice acquisition.

Was always surprised you never had hoarders banging on your door. You have items that make mp3 demos worthless.

Cheers.

Yeah a few of the items I don't think I could ever part with.  I would say an advanced copy of CD wouldn't even tempt me (unless Ax decides never to put CD out, then I might consider it) 16

Some of you may be aware that I have a bit of a weakness for collecting GN'R stuff.  Well I had a new arrival today that will take some time to top!!!

Remember when GN'R won this:

Well I am now in the proud possession of a GN'R Moonman.

His flag needs a bit of TLC (will get that pole straightened and the wear retouched on it).  But other than that he is ready to get pole position somewhere in the house (My girlfried is gonna hate it - 14).

I can confess I bought this when it came out (the standard one not the DVD bonus one).  I think it's a good solid record (it still gets airtime in my car and at work).

Having Ax on it obviously elevates it in my opinions, but I actually quite like a number of the other songs.

I think it's a reasonable record.  I almost find it hard to believe that a muppett like Baz was able to put something out this reaosnable.

It gets the thumbs up from me.

If I was the father I would be wanting a paternity test - how the hell would she know who the dad is?

When Jenna Jamieson dies they will need to bury her in a "Y" shaped coffin.

Yeah I was curious to hear the difference of this one.  I intend to pick it up but just hadn't got around to it yet.

If it's like the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MFSL) gold plated discs then it would definitely be a noticeable improvement in the quality to the discerning ear.

I have even found (and it's generally accepted) that the original Japanese CD version of Appetite 32XD 821 (the one with the black obi stip), to be better quality than the other overseas releases.

How would a re-release of AFD help promote Chinese Democracy?  Am i the only one that missed this connection.  This never even crossed my mind.

When I had a quick look at the thread about this on another forum someone implied that the re-release of this could be part of some grand plan by management to generate interest/ buzz etc leading up to a CD release date.

My point was its definitely not because even this version of the re re re re lease (i.e. the one on the Universal label with that exact sticker on) has already been - released.  So I don't know why they are trying to market it as something new and unavilable until Sept 9th.  You can buy the exact one now and could have done for months.

See I looked at that when someone posted about it on mygnr and thought what a load of shit.  That "re release" has been available for ages.  I'm a pretty big collector of GN'R stuff and keep an eye on whats around and new etc.

Now as we all know since the orginal banned cover came out they have been re releasing or bootlegging that cover in all different parts of the world to try and makes some dollars saying its the original cover etc etc.

Anyhow, that particular one with the "re release" sticker I have seen on sale for months and months - maybe even longer.  For example have a look at this link:

http://www.musicstack.com/item/74611759 … petite+for

It's the same album and pic and sticker.  I think some clever person just decided to market it as a re release to conincide with when they think something is happening with SR and CD etc.  Even though that particular pressing has been available for ages.

In other words don't mistake this "re release" as a sign that CD is about to drop.  This particular re release has been around for ages.
