Riyadh - as I said somewhere else, it's that grating ahhh ahhh ahhh by Axl that ruins it for me.
It's like "ay ay ay ay yeah from KOHD" - but worse. That was tolerable this isn't.

I never understood why IRS is hated. It's the closest we have to old GNR. It's guitar driven and it fucking rocks. All hardcore fans hate it but the general public seem to favor it.
I suppose I don't like it because IMHO the lyrics are really lame. I also think Axl uses one of his more stupid sounding voices in it.

I voted IRS - I never really liked the song.
I also struggle to like Ryihad - Axl's continual Ohh Ohhh Ohhh really grates on me it kinda wrecks what is potentially a promising song with, dare I say it, a little more work.

They're just crappy quality mp3, I've got original wav. files straight off the CD. My best friends neighbours uncle can speak Spanish and Portugese and he sweeps the floor in the building next door to Universal, he gave me a copy. Look here is a screen dump as proof (yeah I could have just posted a link to a clip with Axl's voice, but this is much more convincing):

Everything is "mind blowing" according to Baz. We will wait and see what Slash is doing (most likely his solo album) and if it's not mind blowing then it's safe to assume that neither is Chi Dem (although we probably already knew that). I think poor old Baz needs to learn some new adjectives.
On a seperate thing about him releasing Angel Down with a DVD. That's what really pisses me off and makes me wanna download shit. I bought the Angel Down CD shortly after it came out. But do I have a DVD to show for it - No.
I know it's happened for years but reward people for buying something immediately when it's released by offering special packaging. I really hate that (yeah I know it's only a dumb Baz DVD, but it's the principal of the whole damn thing). Rant over!
Edit - I just read your post after typing mine presumably at the same time as you James - funny we said almost the exact same thing.

Its kind of like seeing this really pretty girl at the bar sitting at a table. You sit down and buy her some drinks. When you get up from the table you see she has the biggest fucking ass of all time. You then realize you are going to settle for a blow job with teeth. Ya its a blow job, but with teeth. Yikes.
That is my feeling so far about CD. Big Expectations, I will enjoy it, but pissed because it could have been so much more!

Yeah that's what I thought. You can download and save youtube vids if you find one with quality that you are happy with:
you can save the original youtube-files this way:
- copy/paste the complete youtube-url you want to save a video from
- click "download"
- click "Download Link"...then a window opens where you have to rename the song like "Street Child.flv" (the .flv naming is important) and d/l to harddisc.
- for playback you need a player which can handle -flv-files like "vlc-media-player" (freeware)

I've been looking for this for a while. I really wanna watch again the Aussie press conference with Slash and Duff where Norman Gunston stands up in the press conference asking them questions like:
Was Axl Rose sprayed for aphids by quarrantine when he came into the country?
Was Slash called Slash because he has a prostate problem? etc etc.
I remember watching it on TV at the time and pissing myself laughing and I always wanted to see it again.
