Agree, he should drop the handle-bar, and the hats. He did look lean and mean in 06, now he looks like 12 years older, not 06.

Saying that, I dont really care how he looks, I wonder how much he cares himself? My guess is it's alot, and we all know he has a history of bad taste when it comes to looks or dress.

06 seemed the most normal and gnarley he's looked since the early 90's.

If you're talking classical influence on rock/metal, forget Rhodes, forget Malmsteen. Tufnel is the man to look to.

You know, just simple lines intertwining, you know, very much like — Mozart and Bach, and it's sort of in between those, really. It's like a Mach piece, really.

- sorry, couldnt help it.

i know a lot of you, like ali, get off on Axl's current form. but to me it's not rock n roll. whereas Slash still retains that raw power & ambition that make a beautiful noise. the noise Axl & his band make isn't pretty anymore.

Agree with you on Slash still having the raw power and ambition, I think some of that is his need to keep busy, and to do so he keeps creating, releasing and playing, and being out there and on form.

And its those two things that I dont see Axl having or pushing, raw power and ambition.  A bunch more of the latter and a bigger set of balls would do him the world of good.

Holy shit that was rough, the're all talking over each other, the dude throws some water at the woman in orange, then gets up and BLAMMO !!

There was also the guy who had lost everything, and became a homeless dude in Greece, who shot himself in the main city square as people walked by, rather than continue with nothing.

Being in the UK and on the edge of the euro-zone here, the business news is full of crisis talk at the mo. Every morning on the radio on my way into work they debate the current crisis.

And now even China is cutting rates as its own growth slows, because everyone else aint buying their stuff right now.

This.

Wont stop it growing though, if there's money to be made and the deceased's estate give permission, its gonna grow as the technology does.

Expect Elvis to be giving personal tours of Graceland soon.

Yep, and Axl going to that nightclub and playing CD over and over to all who was there.  Then Bach blabbermouthing about 3 CD's worth of material he heard at Axl's BBQ.

There were so many colourful rumours, it did make it quite exciting back then, when there was nothing else going on.

I did like the kid walking past the Universal offices and hearing shit blasting out a top office window, that was one of my faves.

I voted no. And I agree with Bono on this totally, technology is very cool. Morality of it is weird.

Hendrix sprang to mind. What most of us would give to have seen him perform live, but it just feels odd to me, I cant quite explain it.

What if they did Hendrix and had him doing stuff or exaggerating stuff he didnt actually do, becomes inaccurate so to speak?

Reminds me of Madame Tussauds with all the wax works in London in a way, thats a bit freaky too.
