News never stops rolling in:
NEW: White House officials have tried to pressure U.S. immigration authorities to release detainees onto the streets of “sanctuary cities” to retaliate against Trump’s political adversaries, according to Homeland Security officials and email messages https://t.co/3P22hi4hdx

I don't get it either. I mean, I get those who initially signed up, Kelly, Mattis, Sessions etc... Thinking 'Hey, a GOP President. Let's hop onboard'. But the people leaving every 12 months is telling. I'm surprised Barr didn't speak with Kelly or Tillerson and ask whats it like in the WH. It's my belief they would've definitely told him "Stay Away!".
.
I think the fact that Barr won't release the report AND wants people investigated for the the report in first place, tells us all we need to know about Barr. He's all in on Trump.

Assange? Wikileaks? Never heard of 'em.

I saw them for their first reunion show-Axl was in the chair. It was my 12th time seeing them.
The next time they were in Vegas, I just happened to be leaving Caesar's for an early dinner. I realized then they were playing that night, when I saw a bunch of people walking around everywhere with GnR tees. If somebody had told me that I'd be in Vegas one day, with the original GnR (for the most part) playing a show, and I chose to skip it, I never would have believed it. But at that point, I just wasn't that excited and for the price of the tickets I could have had a few lavish nights out on the town.

So the "Barr Report" has exonerated Trump in the eyes of his followers and defenders. Yet at the same time, Barr is doing everything he possibly can to stop Congress from seeing it. Gee golly, why is that?
There's also a reason Barr wrote a second memo walking back his first summary. He's trying to cover his ass.
But they did exactly what they needed to do: Get out in front of it, start the propaganda machine and then paint everybody as "angry democrats" once Congress starts going through all of this investigation. They'll have weeks of claiming Trump's innocence, before anybody gets a chance to take in the (redacted) report.
What a group of straight up criminals. The Mueller report, when released will do anything but exonerate this traitor. Barr's walking on the razors edge with this too IMO. Not too bright.
I'll never understand why these people throw themselves on the sword for Trump. One after the other. But here we are. This is a national crisis IMO.

50% of voters support Trump. 3% better than Obama at this same point.

Please, keep it going. Green New Deal. Medicaid for all. Open Borders. This will totally win back middle America. Wisconsin and Pennsylvania are totally going to swing hardcore left to align with these ideas.
Cite other polls that aren't historically right wing leaning.
You sound just like your hero Trump, he quotes the same poll btw.

The "release" of the Mueller report only shows how complicit the GOP are in Trump's criminal enterprise.
Not enough evidence to prove collusion. OK, then release the report.
Not enough evidence to prove obstruction. OK, then release the report.
Barr, a Trump stooge handpicked for his views on the definition of "obstruction", says there is nothing to see here. McConnell says we shouldn't release the report to the public yet because "it may harm people."
They are clearly trying to delay this for a reason.
Is there anything more transparent than this? Jesus Christ, and the traitors, celebrate this as a victory. This is their guy, who they stand by. I've said if before and it applies more now than ever, in fact Adam Schiff just gave that speech that summed it up well: You may be OK with everything Trump and his admin did, but I'm not.
The only thing we know right now is what Trump's hand picked stooge is telling us. Now the WH wants to have access to this report, so they can redact as needed. They'll have a few weeks to stay out in front of this, run their propaganda machine and Trump can lie as usual. He's not exonerated, but guess what he's saying?
First class banana republic shit right here.
Once the report is released, then I'd assume Congress will get to work deciding how to pursue this. He's also looking at charges in the SDNY, so I'm not sure why the right is gloating here. I guess they'll take any little thing they can get with this traitor.

Someone please explain to me why the fuck so many Republicans ran on the premise that Obama was running up the deficit....now the privileged white man is president and it’s ok to have deficits now?!?
Think you'll get a straight answer? lol
Anybody see that Nunes is suing Twitter? Reminds me of another snowflake I know, who also likes to threaten the use of lawyers when his precious little feelings are hurt.
Are there any group of people more pathetic than the GOP at this point? Their "victory" is that Trump's campaign manager is going to prison for a shorter term than recommended, even with 16+ more state charges in the pipeline. They're bragging about this. Furthermore they are STILL claiming "no collusion" even though we have evidence on its face and the investigation is on going. No report has been submitted that we are aware of yet. But here they are, claiming victory.
So Mitch, you ask why they don't give a shit about fiscal responsibility suddenly? They are complicit in the criminality of the executive branch en masse. They give fuck all about deficits and they don't care about the law, the COTUS or freedom of speech. Trump's still going at McCain, a fucking war hero! Nary a peep from the GOP. The "real Americans" and the macho constituency who love the military, stand quietly as this draft dodging softy bashes a POW hero. I've said it before and I'l stand by it, the GOP stand for nothing.

The trade deficit, Trump is going to have to own. But he won’t. He promised it would shrink under his leadership and deal-making. It has grown. I don’t know how you get around that he’s failed in this area.
