#2661 Re: Guns N' Roses » Thought This Was Funny... » 946 weeks ago

It's really all you can do is laugh - it really is a circus.  Thanks for the laugh russtcb this really is a fantastic comedy to follow - I would love to know who writes the script?

The GN'R camp must clearly know by now who Mysteron is (for all we know they probably even intentionally created him), so he must basically have the green light to go ahead and respond on message boards and give tidbits of uninformative info like this.

My question would be why not just come out and say it thru an offical source like their website??  Why do you need some alias to do this?  Granted it will look pretty fucken stupid to put on their website as updates would probably go something like this:

- "Axl is concentrating on getting the album released" - followed by an update for the next quarter as
- "Axl thinks it's time to wrap this baby up, it feels right", next quarter
- "The album is in the final mixing stages", then the update for the end of the year
- "The album is done everyone knows that", then the start of the following year
- "Axl is concentrating on getting the album released"..........

I just find the whole Mysteron thing a bit stupid????  Why bother to repond to a post asking "what is Axl doing now" with bascially the same response that has been given for 15 years??  Wouldn't you just ignore it unless you truly had something enlightening to contribute?  I just find it strange and potentially inflammatory to respond out of the blue with that sort of glib answer?

Actually, on reflection I don't think this whole saga is a comedy anymore - it actually turned into a tragedy a long time ago.

#2662 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Scott says VR is finished after this tour on stage in Glasgow?! :( » 946 weeks ago

Scott does seem to have overreacted to Matt - but then again we don't know what has been simmering under the surface prior to now that caused this to explode.

I haven't liked the way Weiland has acted much since he has been in VR.  That said, as others have pointed out it must be fucken hard to continually get the GN'R questions, comparisons, reunion talk etc etc.  Just on that point - Axl may wanna have a look at how that played out, for some people the original GN'R (or I'll say at least pre 1993 GN'R - Slash n Axl) is all people are ever willing to accept.  No doubt similar questions and talk will continue to plague Axl and his employees, even if he does finally get the gonads to release CD.

Very interesting that Matt was the one to go into rehab meaning they had to can the Aussie tour.  I also over time have lost respect for Matt.  I used to like him but more and more he seems like a dick too.  His only fall back position is that Adler is probably too fucked to ever be phyisically capable of doing a full world tour by himself in the event the unthinkable happens at some point in the future and there was a reunion.

In the meantime I would assume he will hitch his wagon to whatever Slash and Duff do if he can.  Although it would be interesting to get their honest opinion at the moment of how they feel about Matt too, or whether it was just Weiland and he that had issues.

Happy Easter to everyone too - only an hour and 40 mins to go before I can go searching for Easter eggs - or the resurrection.

I would love to hear Izzy back contributing to the songwriting!

I think Marc even touches on the impact of the loss of Izzy and the effect this had on songwriting in that interview.

Well by now I assume most people have probably already seen this from Bulgarian Idol - but if you haven't it is piss funny!!!

#2667 Re: Guns N' Roses » La La la....Mysterion, It in Record company hands now » 946 weeks ago

I couldn't give a fuck if it's with the record company or if the Tooth Fair has said it's in Santa's ball sack, until it's on the shelf at my local music store available for purchase it doesn't mean shit to me anymore.

Yeah I would definitely go again - even it was to hear exactly the same songs and no more new music.  Sure there would be other songs I would like to hear them play, but I just enjoy seeing them live - Axl could sing nursery rhymes for all I care, and I would still enjoy it.  There is something special about seeing a band like them live!

I'm not bent outta shape - I was just trying to understand where you were coming from with some of your posts.

Yep I had a great time when GN'R were here in Oz!  Album or no album didn't make a difference to me when I was seeing em live.

So, bumble, you admit you're wrong? Good. I like integrity in my trolls.

Look at your Icon Featherfucker, I am never wrong-I simply admitted CC's statement was amusing

the "my rant caused your rant" made me laugh!

and as for the perth guy, That was an obvious bait-have you not learned subtle ways of finding things out yet? I guess not!

But even if I didn't know if it was Brisbane that the object was thrown onstage, I don't think it makes me any less of a fan.

If I hadn't attended the concert in my hometown then possibly you could assume that I might be more of a casual fan or not even a fan at all.

But at the end of the day I love GN'R.  I dont' necessarily agree with everything they do and how things are run all the time and I say so now and then - but hey that's just my opinion and take on the situation.
