I have never spent one second on reddit...I didn't realize politics was a thing on there...
Literally everything's a thing on there. You probably wouldn't like the political boards though. The Conservative board, for instance, desperately needs a Mitch or two to annoy them and get something going. But, if that were to actually happen, they'd just ban or downvote you into oblivion and go back to their echo chamber. Same with the Politics (liberal) board.
You guys have a good thing on here. Which is why I keep checking a GNR site on election day, I suppose.
Awhile back someone in the political threads asked me if it was just our small group participating here. I told them there's more people just reading it than there are posters. It gets tons of page views.
I was most active on GNR forums during the pre-CD, HTGTH heyday. I remember SLCPunk being one of the main political voices on there. When he started his own GNR forum, I went there a few times, and it seemed to evolve into a straight up political forum very quickly. If GNR were to stay a "nostalgia act" forever, I wonder if this site could take a similar path. In a way, I guess it's half-way there already.
Just curious, what was your handle on HTGTH? I was there 04-05ish era
This forum was on life support during the DJ Ashba years (11-14ish?) Picked up with the reunion talk then NITL tour announcements. From 2016 on this/these threads (multiple incarnations you'll see) somewhat kept traffic afloat. Struggled last year tho last fall there was a mini-leak of sorts.

Wasn't Florida Bidens least important state tho??
trump needed Hail Mary's in Michigan/Wisconson, PA, and AZ/NC. If he's barely treading water in Florida he's got little shot to win any 4 of those states.

One of the fastest growing in the country, and it's population is like 130K. It's a whole collection of communities.
Sounds about right. 130k is getting close to a fairly large city.

Slightly OT, but I heard something about that 'Villages' retirement community as a whole, something like it's the largest (land mass) city or county in Florida, or one of the biggest in the country. (TBH I think Jacksonville could be the largest or largest in FL). Anyway, whatever the stat was, it made it seem impressively large, not just a few retirement homes that I always thought it was.

Director of Battleground Strategy Nick Trainer tells reporters that Biden campaign just outlined on a zoom call that said Trump was within one state of winning
— Charlie Spiering (@charliespiering) November 2, 2020I knew this was going to start. The shift in tone days ago was the warning sign. The polls going from "he's got it in the bag!" to "we're not promising anything" was another sign. The contrast in crowd size everyone was told to ignore is another.
Biggest red flag of all and when the Biden team could no longer kid themselves is when they realized Trump is pulling in minorities. If elections were covered like they used to be...down the middle on all news outlets, this would've been a huge story yesterday.
C'mon James, this is a Breitbart reporter quoting Trump's director of battleground strategy. Don't buy it.
Translation, 1 state == California and the 55 EC votes they are falling short
Read on FB a few FB friends said busy lines in PA/Philly suburbs. High turnout. Could read into it either way but my friends tend to lean left and the areas they live sorta trend that way. Sure its possible its only trump voters out today but there was no mention or reference to that.
