Those comments are hillarious. Such greats include Jarmo, Axl, Slash, Beta, Fernando, Sen Barack Obama, Howard Stern, Chirs Walken and Lindsay Lohan.

That's some good funny stuff right there.

from the Velvet Rope....from a well known industry insider

"Allowing Irving to broker the one way box deal (and my hunch is this will go to Best Buy because of language issues with Wal Mart) says one thing: Jimmy (IOVINE) is anticipating a huge US stiff.

It will do numbers WW (worldwide) but the US will look feeble.
Now if Axl would just agree to the terms, we can see this one play out and get it over with already.

Irving is the only person to bring about the reunion and that would do great numbers US and WW. "

Found another one over there...

Funny thing is, the band member has so many CDR's of the project at various stages of completion. I once saw, literally, a foot-high stack of CD's in handwritten cases, making a comment in half-jest about it being evidence of the numerous re-toolings the album has undergone over the years.

"Actually", he remarked. "That's just one song."

No wonder songs leak then. They have foot high stacks for each song!

So its fake? Sorry. Like I said, I just got it and didnt want to hear it early.

Yeah but I reckon with the release only like three weeks or so away it's due to leak anytime now.

If this is all viral marketing, along with the Azoff impostor and idolator stuff, it's not bad. It needs to pick up more steam to work though.

On a side note, like I said elsewhere, this is light-years beyond the quiet times. The GNR machine is in overdrive right now, they are just doing it behind the scenes mostly. Discarding all the specifics going on, the level of activity alone points to something happening soon.

DON'T JINX IT! 16

Whenever hype for something big happening soon occurs, that is usually the case and then it derails sad

That said if this is a viral marketing campaign it needs to pick up a lot more. Just do a trent and post the words "4 weeks" or "Soon" on your site and the ammount of hype that will get will be unbelieveable.

I've checked all the sites as well as the link NY Giants gave me and all have been fake. I don't think it's out there YET.

However I do have the new single in high quality mp3 256 kbps. Souns so much better than that shitty stream.

#2808 Re: The Sunset Strip » METALLICA Discussion » 945 weeks ago

yeah "switching" tracks would really suck for everyone involved. No offence to americans as I love loads of things about the country but there's times when the cultuere is strange to me. Like wallmart can't sell an album cos theres a couple of swearwords on it? But you can purchase handguns in stores on the streets. Strange to me. Meanwhile the chain that is so value based in relation to swearing basicly pays it's employees nothing and also puts out smaller busineses into the grave with shonky business practises. Odd.

Likewise here in Australia...you cut out someone's eyes on a movie and it gets like an M rating (15 years old - recomended but not enforced), yet if a girl takes her pants off all of a sudden the movie becomes 18+ and enforced. So violence is ok but nudity is scary! My own country is very wierd too.

wow...i'm so far off topic its insane. Suffice to say...I hope we get CD as it was intended and not modified to suit some corporate bullshit.

My country. Sex at 16. Porn at 18.

Make sense of that:ummm:
