How was Pattinson as Batman?
Surprisingly really good.
I only know home from seeing a bit of Twilight, but I’ve heard plenty of people say he’s a great actor. And he was great in this.
It’s still early on in Batman’s life in this movie, so we don’t see the charming billionaire side of Bruce Wayne, we see him living out his sadness in Bruce, and then anger and vengeance as Batman, and he’s great in that part.

And I still think it’ll be hilarious if they actually do release a newly re-recorded OMG, with Slash and Duff on it.
One of the songs that they apparently refused to work on 25 years ago, and I bet nothing would be more pleasing to old Axl, than to have them sucking up and playing on it now…

Yeah, Absurd got them a lot of negative feedback. Most comments on social media were ripping them apart for releasing such a jarring song, especially as the first new song to feature Axl, Slash and Duff in 30 years.
Hardschool is a much more traditional rocker, and coupled with a cool filmclip of some live performance footage video, it could’ve gotten a much better response.
Instead they drew all the wrong attention with Absurd, that by the time they released Hardschool 2 months later, no one really cared anymore.

Ugh… no thanks. For some of the unpleasant registers that Myles sometimes hits vocally, Todd is all unpleasant vocal registers. I don’t like his voice at all.

Yeah, the new RHCP song sounds like what you’d expect, but really, there was nothing memorable about the song, no catchy chorus or anything. I’d already forgotten it after listening.
As much as I’m not much of a fan of Hardschool, it does sound better by comparison to this RHCP tune.
