I hoping my mail order shows up today from Best Buy. I got an e-mail just after midnight saying "the store you have arranged for in-store pickup is closed. Once we here from the store, we will send you an e-mail about your order."
Not sure what that means, exactly, but it doesn't make me feel all that good...

And I distinctly get the feeling that we're not meant to be reading this yet. All the "available today!" and - more obviously - "November 23" stuff. Very insightful regardless.

I'm glad they finally made a statement, especially considering the confusion the booklet will generate. Sad to know Robin's gone, though. And Brain. And Bucket. If it sounds like I'm complaining, I'm absolutely not....CD is out!!!

I'm not ready to do a full-on review at this point, but I have to say, this record has a far more consistent tone and sound to it - and far fewer "throwaway" tracks than the Illusion records (yes, I know that UYI was a double album, but you get my point).

That kills me. I ordered a delivered copy (I still have my other two copies for in-store pick up) last night, and it's already shipped. My tracking links via USPS calls up the UPS website (wtf?!?!), and I called Best Buy. The woman I spoke with didn't know why UPS came up, said it shipped by USPS, and that it should arrive between the 24th and Dec. 1st. Still, I remain hopeful....

Dammit. I specifically chose "in-store pick up" because I thought the album would arrive *after* Sunday. Figures.

I'm so tempted to check this out. I'm still trying to hold out for the few songs I haven't heard yet, though. I still want the excitement of hearing new music through my own headphones or stereo for the first time. Decisions, decisions.
