#21 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » buckethead signature LP guitar » 757 weeks ago
And just think, we have Axl Rose to thank for the creation of this model.
Unfortunately the model is now out of production, replaced by the cheaper Studio model.
I've got the Signature LP, have had it for about a year. Best guitar I've ever played.

Someone needs to record this show, I'd like to see the audiences general reaction!

yes cuz GnR released a shit ton of albums when Bucket was in the fold
sorry but if the guys arent in the actual partnership then they dont hold any sway...i dont even know how much sway Axl has tbh...when the label and Axl reach a compromise on material and terms then then CD part 2 will come out ... not until
i think the releasing of GnR music is more political than peopel want to believe
Label issues aside, do you really think that Axl is in a hurry to get the music put out?
I'm not convinced.

But what would brininging back bucket actually achieve?
Bucket coming back at this stage could go a long way towards getting the rest of the material released. Axl would be more confident having his favourite axe-man back on board, a guy who composed the solos and can play them as they're supposed to sound. Axl would know that to keep him on board this time, he'd have to do a lot of recording and release albums.
None of the new members can influence Axl to release music, Buckethead could and would. It'll never happen though, unfortunately.

there are those of us out there
I tried really hard. And I will probably go see him in concert anyways. I just didn't think the world of the material I listened to.
Try this track Russ;

imo if you don't like that track then it's likely you won't like his other stuff.

James, put on Dragons of Eden and crank it dude.
That's probably my fav album featuring Bucket and Brain, tasty as all hell and it has the best bass playing by Bucket that I've heard anywhere.
Also, Travis Dickerson's mad keyboard skills shine on this album.

I'm serious
Youtube link added in first post.
I believe this is the second time Bucket has received praise on the show, the last time was the Guitar Hero episode.

"Heed ye not the false riffage of Buckethead and Robin Finck (though Buckethead can totally shred, I mean, have you seen that guy?)."
