I see what you mean, but I thought that changed a bit when CD was released and people got to hear his work in good quality. At least that was the case for me. Point taken though.

Surely Buckethead competes for that spot too.

Always loved his take on the SCOM solo in Big Daddy too. Hope we get to hear that rerecording some day.

The Better, TWAT and This I Love solos are on par with almost anything done by the old band. His uniqueness will go a long way in reaffirming the band as something new and legitimate.

Axl's said the door is always open for Robin and Bucket to return. Let's cross our collective fingers.

It doesn't matter what he was actually thinking, doing eye rolls when your boss is saying some words at an official show is bad etiquette. How hard can it be to keep a happy face when you're doing a promotional event?

Given his record of statements it's pretty certain how people will interpret it.

Quite strangely I get more of a kick from Adlers recent material than any other ex member. That single they released a while back was good.

The holdup has been revealed, lack of funds. Axl is working on it though.

Depends how much $60 is to you. If it has no consequence on your spending abilities that month, sure why not.

whats that mate

Before the encore Axl explained to the crowd how they had to cut the show short so the fans could get the last trains of the night, etc.  And Ron closed his eyes, and it sort of seemed like he was thinking to himself "well if we went on earlier we wouldn't have to cut things short".  At least that was my own interpretation.

Ron should keep his opinions to himself. Nobody's forcing him to be there. Standing there making suggestive faces on official releases is just unprofessional.

Yep. Worst movie list I've ever read. Didn't think 2013 could be worse than 2012 but I was wrong.

They reached the bottom years ago, but somehow they always seem to find an even deeper crack.

Spike Lee doing an Oldboy remake is just taking the piss. To think that the Departed was lauded with awards is really hilarious. Not only is it a lesser film than the original (by quite a bit) but to praise it as a great achievement at the Oscars when you essentially copied another dude's film, going as far as lifting entire scenes, well the joke is certainly on America. Imagine if they did an almost verbatim remake of Goodfellas and it went on to win a bunch of Chinese Oscars.

Wonder what Scorsese would say back in 1975 if you told him that his first Oscar would be for copying the film of a guy who back then wasn't even out of middle school.

But if one of America's greatest directors can't do it I'm sure Spike Lee can.
