IMO bucket/fortus is the best combo available so that would be cool with me
Would be cool to go back to a guitar tandem. If they do that and drop a keyboard player, it would look like a real band again.
it should be bucket and finck however.... sorry, i don`t see fortus great talent. is it because he managed to play the rocket queen and first november rain solo live? i guess most fortus fans like him because he resembles izzy...
face it, fortus is probably the only member of the 2002 gnr line up, that could be replaced by anyone. even pitman and dizzy shouldn`t be underestimated.
if finck leaves, now even the harcore fans of the new band won´t support this mess anymore (after the hardcore fans of the old gnr stopped 10 years ago obviously...)

i`m so fuckin tired of all this bullshit!!
if robin leaves, the new gnr is definitely over. at least for me.
buckethead leaving was already a bummer, brain hopefully just left until CD is released (i hope so to say the least...),
and now robin might be gone....
what the fuck is axl going to do now??? is he going to continue replacing top-notch musicians with mediocre coverband players???
this whole situation has become so goddamn ridiculous, it`s not bearable anymore. i sincerely hope the new management team is going to clear some things up in the coming week. otherwise i`m not going to take this anymore... I am no fan of the revolving door line up by the way...
#323 Re: Guns N' Roses » DR. PEPPER ISSUES CHALLENGE TO AXL ROSE! » 926 weeks ago
So no one else is slightly concerned about Gnr possibly selling out to a soft drink company? Not exactly how I would have promoted it....:ummm:
as i highly doubt, that this is all made up and axl knew about it beforehand, it was dr. peppers` idea, not gnr`s. so why being concerned about gnr selling out?

i`m sick of reading things like "pisser at snitch" on htgth`s frontpage......

when does he say he`ll be touring with a big band featuring brain as the drummer??

I didn't realize the person felt they had to do that. To me bullshit like that proves it false even more.
Either way, my contact will be making some calls on Monday to find out if any of this information is true in any fashion. As soon as I hear something, I'll post it.
well how many execs can have these titles?
PR and Talent executive of Interscope A&M
Marketing And Resources of Geffen Records, Europe and Subsidiary.i would find it kinda pointless to go under a pseudonym if you give away your job title
never looked at it from that perspective...

#328 Re: Guns N' Roses » *FALSE* "The Collective's" unofficial statement regarding C.D. » 932 weeks ago
an unofficial statement by "the collective" couldn`t be more fake than this load of shit.....
if someone really wants to make up something like this, they could at least do their homework. this text by "gnrjanus" and "bucketheader" is so full of errors and lame attempts to sound legit, it`s almost not readable....
they fucked up every sentence by mentioning unnecessary details, which can either be proven bullshit, or consist of bits and peaces of info we heard in the past to make it sound real.. for example beta being the manager (personal manager and manager mean to different things...), the album being planned for digital release, the song motormouth, the mention of "burnout paradise", the martin luther king quotes as a source of delay, the bonus dvd, etc etc........
they just tried too hard.... them mentioning "broken" is just the icing on the cake to me.... to make it even more obvious, they wrote it in a way a 12 year old immigrant from india would be capable of.
this rumour isn´t even fun, it just pisses me of to see people like that trying to fool the gnr community in such a lame way. and there are even people buying into it.... at least it was finally deleted from htgth.
#329 Re: Guns N' Roses » The last minutes in Philly » 932 weeks ago
i heard there were about 14.000 people at their show in nijmegen....
the european dates sold pretty well and were mostly sold out or close to it i think... shows like the one in nijmegen couldn`t sell out anyways... it was just a big field basically. gnr played there in front of 60.000 in 1993 i think.
#330 Re: Guns N' Roses » The Biggest Impact? » 932 weeks ago
i got into gnr in 2003 if i remember correctly.(fortunately) i`m not one of the fans who have been waiting for this album for 15 years now, but 4-5 years is a pretty long time to wait for an album as well i think.
i became a fan when i listened to chinese democracy and the blues from vegas. i think they were up on mygnr for download. i also thought oh my god was a great track. seeing it from that perspective, i think those songs had the biggest impact on me....
anyways... in 2006 i went to the rock am ring show, being unsure about what to expect (a great show or a terribly bad one...), but it was fuckin amazing. madagascar and IRS were out of this world. the sound was perfect and the performace was outstanding, especially on madagascar! the dvd doesn`t do any justice to it and it doesn`t contain madagascar anyways.. madagascar at rock am ring was really one of the most beautiful moments of my life ( perhaps i should mention that i DO have a life, albeit it being a short one so far...:haha:)
the leaks are also great, but not what i`ve been waiting for all this time. the 2007 ones are badly mixed and the 2006 ones suck regarding the quality.... i remain hoping to be able to listen to the real deal one day...
