No. Is anyone else experiencing this? Even when I’m logged out and hop to an IP all over North America I get the message intermittently. Logging in immediately gives me that message too. I’ll probably get it as soon as I hit submit, which is why I double posted above. Weird.

The flu has never simultaneously overrun hospitals in every state, and we still don't know the long-lasting effects or the strains, because the flu wasn't created in a lab and didn't make a leap on the evolutionary chain. Our bodies are able to adjust to newer flu variants.
If you don't believe in it or you're anti vaxx or whatever, fine. I even agree in government overreach, but this goes more into being angry that other people don't agree with your stances. That's the issue I have with anti-vaxxers.
We don’t know it was created in a lab. If you think it was, shouldn’t you be demanding Fauci and those who funded it be held accountable?
The reality is 2020 and 2021 have had the same amount of COVID deaths. And we’ve had the vaccine available in the US widely available to those most vulnerable since January.
This is the new reality. This isn’t about a stance, it’s saying that if you’re going to join the chorus of doomsayers, you apply those concerns and considerations equally. How many people die from smoking cigarettes each year? How many hospital beds are full of dying smokers across the nation? Yet we’ve yet to ban them, let alone mandate every person above the age of 2 take chantix.

In 2018 my best mate who is my age (40s) caught the flu.
It went to his heart.
It left him with 14% heart function. He fucking needs like an hour to put on a shirt and walk across the room now.
Cardiologist says that his heart can not be fixed and the risk of him dying increases 10% for every year he lives with this condition. You don't have to be a maths guy to realise this means he has a 100% chance of being dead by 2028. So here I am walking into 2022 and like the absolute best case is that he has 6 years left...and that's if he turns out to be amongst the best and strongest.
I was at the hospital when this happened going like "what in the utter fuck...since when does this happen?" like i thought the flu was no big deal...but the doctors assured me that actually this happens quite a lot and it's just that people don't tend to talk about it lots.
So in conclusion - FUCK anything that is like the flu and FUCK the idea that anything is just a flu.
It's not unusual for a taste of the flu to significantly fuck up your life.
So why didn't we turn society into a concentration camp before? Why didn't you get yearly shots for the flu? Throw families on the street because they refused?
That's what is going on now, for a virus that is the equivalent of the flu.
This. How many flu deaths were reported in children and adults in years prior? What constitutes a COVID death? The fact that Colin Powell, a man suffering from cancer and multiple ailments is counted as a "COVID" death tells you all you really need to know about how accurate our accounting is. As of today, 52% of COVID deaths occurred in persons over 75 years of age. 75% of deaths occurred in people over 65 years of age. <0.1% of COVID deaths have been people under 18 years of age.
50k people dying from the "flu" and 30+ million infected with it each year didn't warrant any kind of response. 100k people dying annually ODing on opioids doesn't result in any kind of action. Children are the most impacted by these inane measures, and they're the safest from the virus.
I've gotten my flu vaccine every year for the past 20 years and have never had the flu. I've gotten 3 shots of Moderna and will continue to get an annual booster because I'd rather take my odds feeling cruddy for a day or two than be knocked out of it for a week or 2. That's my personal calculus of risk, and I'm not asking anyone to accept it.
But if your sole source of information is the media who has kept your attention with daily trackers and alarmism at every corner, you're not seeing the full picture.
COVID primarily affects the elderly and the infirm. Get the vaccine, but locking down society and ruining lives because politicians found a sure method to get buy in on power grabs is insulting to any intelligent and informed person. Life is full of risk and we're all going to die. Ruining the economy, harming education and spreading fear isn't an appropriate measure to the majority of society that isn't locked in a nursing home waiting to die.

I'm a smart, capable, individualist American...but the media which I choose to consume is the problem...

All you've done is repeat left wing media talking piints, asked if we've seen the Trump interview (nope), and then hoped Rittenhouse would kill Trump... I said the media inflamed tensions, especially with the sheep. You've proved my point.
Not sure what it proves since i never watch any news programs….and when i say never….i mean never…the three articles a week i read from yahoo news allegedly makes me a moron….
How can you call yourself an informed individual while simultaneously degrade the sources of information you claim make you an informed person?
I’ll never understand this….
What is so hard about it? You have no issue watching Trump deliver information to you, recognize it as biased or disinformation, and recognize it as such.
You were completely misled about the riots last year to include Rittenhouse and his actions, but get upset that others recognize the flaws or disinformation in mainstream media. This isn’t a new revelation, Chomsky has written several books on the topic dating back to the mid 20th century.
I guess I don’t understand what’s so difficult to grasp that 1.) our media is a for profit entity, 2.) that for profit reality requires that they be susceptible to the means at which they gain profit - advertisers and viewers, and 3.) they’re incentivized to make their broadcasts appealing to their viewers, which is in direct conflict with the notion of objective, news reporting.
Are you incapable of reading different articles from the same source and not recognizing the absence of facts and/or imposed narrative on topics the network is aligned with? If so, that’s a unique problem to your comprehension abilities.
Your repeated argument that if you dislike partisan media and disinformation you are unable to reference that media in any capacity is bananas. You certainly don’t hold to that maxim. You constantly shit on your country, yet have no issue advocating on positions you feel will enhance it (or hurt it, like how you celebrated COVID and told us we deserved it because Trump was elected. That as many people have died under Biden that have under Trump hasn’t made it to your talking points yet [and probably won’t since The Daily Beast or Business Insider haven’t written a rebuttal yet]).

I firmly believe everyone is entitled to make their own mind up on the vaccine, just as Biden said up until the fall, when he broke another campaign promise and changed course. But I can't understand opposition to it. At this point we all know someone who got it, and probably someone who spent time in the hospital with it. We all probably know of someone who "died" from it too. I'm not worried about the flu, but I get my booster every year. Got my COVID booster a month ago now. I just think it's funny to have the party of "My Body, My Choice" suddenly turn face and not only be kosher with, but vocally support mandates under punishment of law or loss of job. Now they're saying the unvaxxed shouldn't have their healthcare covered. What about the million other comorbidities that are a direct result of personal choice - obesity, diabetes, lung cancer, etc. Seems they're more interested in punishing dissent and ostracizing people than actually putting forward solutions.

So, they're charging the parents of the MI shooter with manslaughter. Good. This went far beyond enabling a pretty clearly sick kid, they willfully encouraged it, imo. They had the opportunity to stop t that morning when they were called in because of his behavior. They left The gun where he could get it. The mother and son obviously have some issues.

Anyone who makes this about Trump is an idiot. Unless you call out BLM for the Wisconsin massacre, shut up.
I had no idea their negligence was this deep. Hopefully their bail is set unreasonably low so they can flee again. The civil suits should keep them destitute the remainder of their lives.

I dug it, but this should have been the official release back in September. Also kind of surprised they released a video with guns, fires and explosions in a school.
