Problem is once you get the storm troopers around all those cheating girlfriend survivors are going to be dead anyway. I'd say that's a fair trade off for the stability and longevity of a free society.

And saying it can't happen is ridiculous, the reason it's an amendment in the first place is because it did happen.

To demo a building you need to strip the building down to the skeleton to get to the actual structure. You ever seen real demolition work to bring down a building and what that building looks like? Yeah, they'd have to tear entire floors apart to do it right. And you'd need a shitload of it to bring down a structure like the WTC. Plus, you know, you'd think the people working there would have noticed something like their offices being torn apart, as it takes months to pull something like this off, with a very large crew.

This has been debunked several times.

That's true. But what you saw on tv isn't possible either...

Crime rate is determined by social policy, not gun availability. Like I said, you don't see people shooting each other up in those countries even though there are lots of guns, because there are no ghettos where that type of crime can flourish.

And while sleeping with the gf of a guy with a gun is more dangerous than one without I'd say that's a situation fairly easily avoided. Going around being a dick will cause you problems in any society.

I for one would prefer the option of defending myself against criminals and rouge governments. There's a reason dictatorships always seizes the population's guns first, like in Germany.

Getting a gun, easy in any country, carrying and using it, not recommended unless you're a full time criminal.

Apart from in some states the US is the only country on earth where gun ownership is truly legal.

All the bs about guns leading to a more dangerous society really gets to me over here. Of all the countries I've been to in Europe the UK was the most unsafe place, and they have the strictest laws on the continent. Switzerland and Norway on the other hand are like a kindergarden and they have one of the largest gun ownership in the world.

Funny to think that over here the father would probably be jailed and the kid sent to CPS rape academy.

Think of it like this, you either pay for their crack addiction or you don't pay and they just rob your house or something instead.

Either way, benefits for the poor are a drop in the ocean compared to the generation annual bailout theft to banks, insurance companies, airlines etc. How many trillions were paid out to the ultra rich in 08/09?

Whoever said this is just a scheme to bankrupt the private industry so the government can take over everything long term is right on the money.

He can create good characters, that's why he's talented, but he makes them do stupid things, cause he's a producer yes man.

but also typical soap opera-lite relationship garbage.
defo could do w/o the jeff daniels/executive producer romance BS & that terrible love-triangle angle w/the associate producers. like a really smelly fart in the middle of a pretty fun evening.

overall, could be good but could be boring.

I'm not sure why Sorkin always does that but overall I usually end up liking the characters involved.

Because he's a lowest common denominator writer. If shit sells, he'll cook it. Sad really, cause there's some real talent there.

johndivneys review pretty much reveals what this is all about, another typical soap masquerading as intelligent drama.

HBO 1999-2006 RIP

Only in America, and for once, it's a good thing.
