I wouldn't call it a failed term, people are saying despite covid, they're better off now than 4 years ago, I'd say they're more fatigued from a chaotic term and an infuriating President.

If I were a Republican I'd invest big time in Latino communities. Trump actually improved with that demographic while Dems are growing with rich, college educated white folks.

"Despite" lol.  despite covid... lol.  That's the entirety of his failure. and the Dow Jones has been riding Obamas record highs since 2013.

And Bidens been gaining on seniors, and women.

Why is that funny? The world economy crashed because of covid, and we're actually doing well considering. If we're being honest, Obama did well because he didn't do what he said he'd do and repeal the Bush tax cut, but made them permanent. After four years, it's Trump's economy. You can't have it both ways. When it's good it's because of someone else, and it's only his economy when it's bad.

We're also spending $4 TRILLION a year to prop up the Dow Jones to help trump get re-elected.  But hey, look the other way on that.

For reference, during the 2008 collapse the most we spent $1.5 trillion.

and Flagg, & MisterID, we had advance notice of this. Wuhan became public news on January 1. It hit Europe hard about 30 days before it did here. trump kept denying it. Then, we had 1 death. Then, 1,000, then 10,000, like that. And this idiot was saying "One day, it'll all just go away"

I had moron friends on FB saying it'll go away in the heat (before trump did)?  I did research and googled Australia and asked why do they have cases down there, since it's summertime now below the equator. Fucking morons. Half the planet is in summertime and they don't even do the research or make the connection.

Hey PaSnow, what court case is going to end the ACA?

Isn't the SC hearing one the week after Election Day?

Dems have pinned this as a person who intends to kill Obamacare. You're aware the ACA actually polls pretty well among the public, and people want to see it kept?

The Dems are isolating Senators such as Lindsay Graham (also Colorado, Iowa, Arizona) to essentially vote to kill off the Affordable Care Act, a policy that is pretty well liked overall, and the public would rather it be tweaked than abolished. So Senators such as him, in tight re-election races, become vilified, lose support, and voted out. Dems keep the House, take the Senate, and Biden adds 2 justices.

So who wins?  She kills off Obamacare, then becomes a minority vote the rest of her time onboard. Hey, like you say Randall, "She did 1 thing"

Also, he didn't 'shut down flights from China'.  He only banned Chinese citizens from coming to the US.  Flights were coming in daily from China.

"There’s just no world where the federal government could have handled COVID better than it did"  ahhh yes, all hail king trumpf.

You keep saying 'he did 1 thing, he did 1 thing'.. LOL, yeah takes more than 1 thing to achieve success. "Don't blame me, I did 1 thing".

"What could Trump have done to stop the spread that he didn’t do? " -- Randall Flagg

He could have expressed a pandemic was likely coming in January (he didn't)
Shut down the cruise industry early on (he didn't)
He could have recommended people & business reduce travel (he didn't)
He could have encouraged masks early on, in February (He didn't)
He could have recommended business events and expos reschedule (he didn't, they did so on their own amidst confusion & uncertainty)
He could have stopped holding rallies (he didn't)
He called it a Hoax on February 29th.
He complimented the governor of Georgia for reopening in April.
He cntinued to hold rallies in the summertime.
He held a superspreader 2 weeks ago where over 30 people have now been reported to have been infected.
He came down with coronavirus.

Yes. They won't admit it. People were voting for Trump, then walked out of polling stations and lied to exit pollers on who they'd just voted for.

After a failed term, do you expect those are the kind of voters who will vote for him again?

So 3 weeks out from the election, I think Trump is going to win.  I've been paying very close attention to the states that matter this election.  All Trump needs to do is win Mi, Wi, or PA and he has 270+ electorals. This assumes he wins AZ , FL and OH of course.  But I haven't seen much that indicates those are going to swing to Biden, especially after the 2018 election.

Biden should win this, but if 2016 is actually representative of the electorate and the silent support for Trump, I think he walks away with it.

I was up the poconos over the weekend & Biden is spending heavy up there (Scranton), like nonstop. Didnt' watch news channels either, yet didn't see 1 trump ad. A billboard or two tho.

I won't discount 2016, but I actually think an unspoken issue is Huma Aberdin ran a terrible campaign, and lost. She focused solely on 'inner cities' and the urban vote, saying that's where the populations have moved to (millenials, GenX etc).  Which, may be true to some extent, but doesn't mean you neglect smaller town America. David Axelrods policy was Win Scranton, Win Allentown, Win Philadelphia, you win the eastern half of PA, plus Pittsburgh. Win that, and you win the state. Seems true. Bidens also trending over 50% in PA, which becomes close to statistically impossible for trump to win.

I don't think trumps winning AZ either. I RCP has him losing consistently aside from some Trafalgar Group poll. Keep in mind too, it's getting colder, and Covids getting worse.

I'm with you. I'd go In N' Out burger over Five Guys, but I could make a case for Five Guys  Ate Shake Shack once, wasn't a huge fan.

Flagg Fatburger in Vegas is nice. Outdoor seating.
