The federal government will surrender U.S. control of the internet to international authorities.
The Washington Examiner reports that the Department of Commerce will "finalize" the transition on Oct. 1.
The upshot: the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority which translates numerical addresses into a readable language shift from U.S. control.
It will be run by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, which the Examiner describes as a "multi-stake holder body that includes countries like China and Russia."
Special:The Wall Street Journal reports that the Obama administration looks at the move as "necessary to maintain international support for the internet and prevent a fracturing of its governance."
But Sen. Ted Cruz and advocacy groups including the Americans for Tax Reform and Heritage Action oppose the transfer, saying the agency could be used by "totalitarian governments" to trigger a global shutdown of the Web, the Examiner says.
When I was in China, the local government had assigned 1 observer per every 250 people. They read emails and other traffic to prevent uproars and protests. Russia is now requiring every ISP to maintain logs of every site users visit. Are these the countries we want having control over the web?
Do we want Europe enforcing its radical hate speech codes? Their privacy laws are far superior to the U.S., but they're also the first to prosecute people for posting unpopular ideas.
I think Obama made a mistake giving over U.S. control. But we'll see if this has any long term effects.

So if Polluxlm is Padme and Buzzsaw is Anakin, does that mean they're having a secret relationship?

If he can completely change here and hurt his base support, he can really get away with murder, and people are going to have to take a whole other lokat his appeal. Maybe that's a good thing. His outreach to the black community has been a disaster, IMO. Why isn't he speaking to black groups and leaders?
He's reaching out to rooms full of white people in regards to the black community. I'm sure it makes perfect sense to him.
So the other candidate who hasn't done an interview in 7 months because every word is scripted and controlled is both more believable and desirable than the candidate willing to go on every network and talk off the cuff?
What policies does the DNC offer that have improved the quality of black Americans? Sure the DNC caters to Latinos with its absurd immigration policy. But that same policy is what brings in a similar socioeconomic class that directly competes with the targeted black demographic for jobs and housing. Please excuse me if I don't continue the false narrative that all Mexicans pick lettuce in the fields. Not much farmable land in Southern California, New Mexico, Arizona and Southern Texas - the area most Hispanics live in, legal and illegal. What rational person argues America should have an open border and once you touch US soil, you're clear to stay? In what reality is that policy sustainable? So who's offering real solutions and who's offering fantasy?
Free college to everyone? You believe that? With unregulated universities being allowed to continue raising tuition astronomically and many times the rate of inflation, sending every American student to college is an incredible deficit. It would only be paid for by a massive tax hike, something not accomplished without taxing the middle class. And the middle class isn't going to agree to that if every 18 year old dipshit can go to university to study The Effects of THC on The Young Mind for a year before failing or dropping out. Clinton neglects all the details of her proposal and relies on the fantasy. The hacked emails fucking showed the game plan to keep her supporters ignorant of the details.
Anyone who thinks proposals like these are remotely possible are either uninformed or desire a fundamental change in our economic and government systems that they're not willing to be forthright with.
Trump may be a blowhard and a moron at times, but at least he's offering real solutions to the problems most Americans care about rather than only offer fantasy and imagined problems.

"Black Power" could mean a lot of things. There is a difference between self-empowerment and power at the expense of anyone else. I never took that as a threat to me and my whiteness. I've grown wary of all these details and hair splitting.
Sure, white power can mean a lot of things too. I don't take any racial pride sentiments as a threat. I take them as ignorance in being proud of something you have no control over and is entirely arbitrary. What next, Hazel eye pride?
The conservative philosophy in 2016: Black people suck, woman are dumb, and Hispanics can do the shit work for shit pay but we'll still hate them anyway."
If that is your takeaway from "conservative" philosophy, you either haven't been paying attention or you think the ramblings of some redneck off the street have any connection to the beliefs or ideology of millions of Americans who believe the Constitution is something to be respected rather than distorted and twisted to fit the popular thought of the day and that America should put its own citizens and people's best interest ahead of everyone else - just like every other country does, yet only the US is faulted for it.

There are a lot of votes she wouldn't want to reach. Why would Hillary want votes from white nationalists and conspiracy nuts?
So it's cool she is appealing to black nationalist? Why else would she trot out Michael Brown's mother during the convention? Is it cool she had the father of the Orlando Shooter front and center at her rally in Florida? Trump has to disavow comments from David Duke whom he's never met nor supported, yet Hillary can bring out the mother of an attempted cop killer and the father of the guy who killed 50 gay people (while personally saying Allah will handle the gays). What kind of fucked up world do we live in where people see Clinton as the candidate of sanity and inclusiveness.
Michael Brown's mother is connected to black nationalists? Those mothers wanted to speak with both candidates, guess who did and who didn't? And the deal about her supporting the terrorist father is absolutely pathetic. I'm not mentioning Trump getting support/money/advice from the old Florida senator who was kicked out of office for sexually harrassing and trying to pressure his young male pages into letting him fuck them. Is Trump trying to appeal to the gay pedophile demographic? That's fucking stupid. Trump is still using white supremacist quotes in his ads. And I'm not big on liberals, but mentioning Robert Byrd is scraping the bottom of the fuckin barrel, so if that's all you got...hilarious. Who's getting the white supremacist support? Show me where Hillary is being endorsed by black nationalists.
Have you not been listening to what #BLM has been saying the past 2-3 years? These people are openly racist and uninformed. Chants of "Black Power" is the very definition of black nationalism. Why would you bring the mother of an attempted cop killer who's death was used to justify violence and protests? She's not apologizing for what her son did, she's trying to use her son as a symbol of brutality when the only openly violent person was her son - the guy who strong armed a clerk minutes before he assaulted a cop and tried to remove his gun only to charge at the cop seconds later. These aren't people who should be part of any intelligent discussion. I'm sure Charles Manson wants an audience with Clinton too, but I don't recommend she bring him up on stage at national convention.
And you really want to bring up inappropriate sexual advances? Think on that. How many women have accused Bill Clinton of rape? There was that big thing with Amy Schumer last week cause one of her writers advocated we should have all the facts before we convict someone of rape, and he was berated as a rape apologist. Hillary mocked all of Bill's accusers and her hollywood friends remain mum.

Don't forget this guy:
Hidden Text:
Robert Byrd doesn't count because he completely destroys the liberal talking point that Democrats stopped being racist in the 1960s and the GOP suddenly became the party of racists. I guess yelling "get the welfare check" instead of "get the rope" is a significant leap forward for a party built on judging and treating people based entirely on their skin color, their gender or sexual preferences.

Trump will get more people out to vote for Hillary than anyone.
There's a general unhappiness with the do nothing obstructionist house and senate. We'll see how those races go... Those races were going to be difficult without Trump. And listening to local GOP ads for the house where it's solely on who is more Christian, anyone who votes for these chumps deserve to lose everything and have no room to complain. Makes me so ashamed of my Southern people for how gullible, selfish, stubborn, spiteful and ignorant they can be. They fall for snake oil salesman and a New York carpet bagger who admits he will tell you anything you want to hear to get what he wants. Christ, it's embarrassing.
Millions or 5%, depends on how you look at it. Impressive campaign by Sanders you ask me.
But as I said, rallies are only one indicator. Trump is reaching voters Hillary never will. All he really needs to do is stump the anti vote by acting more Presidential in the coming months. Don't forget, Hillary is one of the worst candidates ever too.

Yes, Monmouth: https://theconservativetreehouse.com/20 … -about-it/
I only took 2 stats classes in college, so I'm not qualified to say if this is right or wrong. Is there a valid reason to change the weights? Do you know of a reason not to? Even if this one is invalid for the specified reasons, other recent polls show a similar margin of Clinton support. Are they all wrong too?
I do think it's fair to poll likely voters over registered or public, because only those who actually vote matter. And I know first hand that Trump rallies garner more supporters than Clinton ones. But how many people are content to watch the nightly news, listen to the media distort and twist what Trump has said (Coulter's latest article opened my eyes to the whole bleeding Megyn Kelly incident and how Trump really didn't mean her period, but how many people watched the actual video in context and not just that one sound bite) and a lot of the stupid shit he has said, and stopped listening.
You can't objectively bash Trump and then argue Clinton is any better. I know a lot of people struggle with that, but you can't yell about trump University and Casinos and remain mum when 50% of Clinton's visitors while she was in State ended up donating to the Clinton Foundation. She's been paid millions for speeches by Wall street, and her supporters still think she's the champion of the working class. Some people are so blinded by their bias, they refuse to objectively look at the other side.
So you can't continue to say Trump is in this great position when virtually every poll shows that Clinton is headed towards a major electoral landslide. If you can find polls that are only looking at probable voters that show differently, I'll be glad to listen. But if you're the only one in the room who says the lights are off and everyone else says they're on, at some point you have to consider maybe you have it wrong.

Buzz, do you have any leads on an IT professional with years of operational experience in the Pittsburgh area. I'm happy at my current Fortune 100, but am always looking. Low 6 figure salary as a starting point.
