Speaking of promo material though, I haven't really seen much here in Australia.
I did receive and email from Utopia (heavy metal music store) here in Sydney, and they are hosting a special GN'R night on Friday with a GN'R cover band playing the classics, and the album going on sale at midnight.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't like the new GN'R logo at all. I much preferred the classic logo mixed with the new font that they used on the 2006-07 tour.

I dunno, but I find this hard to take seriously. The Illusion albums have some of the best rock guitar riffs and solos ever recorded, and while there is some interesting playing across CD, I wouldn't say it's better than what's on UYI.

I disagree, because being the big GN'R fan that I am, I would have rushed to buy the single as soon as it was available, as I'm sure many non-diehards would have done as well.
Now the single has been out for a while, I'm a bit "meh" about it.
Yeah, I'll buy the album, but I won't be rushing to buy any single unless it has some exclusive content on there on something.
This is the digital age, you gotta strike while the iron is hot.

Good to see Slash finally shooting people down that keep asking him this.
Especially with the fact that the new GN'R lineup (whoever is or isn't currently there) are about to finally release their album, and they're asking him when a reunion is happening? That's just fucking stupid.

I just noticed that the very last verse/outro lyrics of Chinese Democracy are missing. And that part has the hardest lyrics to interpret too! hehe
