Yes, you did.
You said "that it'd definitely be a start" in response to what Tommie said.
If believing that (closed!) psychiatric help is the only option makes me a wuss... So be it.
Meh. If you wanna take it that way fine by me. I meant that yeah it would be a good start in the sense that hell yeah I'd punch em in the face. But I do realise that it would not fix the problem and neither would your psychiatric help. As for the rest I made my point very clear and stand by it

Dahmer was evil.
His 'psychiatric' help was simply studying him for science. There is no rehabilitating that.
Any child that participates in a torturous activity of another human being, is evil. Now and always. You either lock it away or kill it.
But I still feel the parents should hold responsibility. In this case you might have evil, but in some of the more anti-social PD situations, we need to start holding the parents more accountable. It starts at home.
And I said in an earlier post that the parents should be held accountable as well. To them psychiatric help could be the solution. The judicial system is taking it way too easy when it comes to kids that are between 14 and 17. Those kids will probably get a couple years in a detention center and that will be it. And trust me it's not enough for evil people like that. At 15 I say send them to jail. Atleast when it's a crime like that.

Oh, so I'm a "wuss" because I do not consider punching them in the fucking face is the best solution?
How original.
No you're a wuss cause you say that the only solution is psychiatric hel^p. I did not say punching them in the face was the only solution or a solution. I said I would have them do hard time. I'd give them at least 25 years in jail. At 15 you know the difference between right and wrong. Nowadays when a fucking psycho does something like this immediately they plead insanity and they get nothing. I say fuck that. If he doesn't know the difference between right and wrong then lock him up in a psychiatric center for a real long time. Dahmer killed and hate people. Did he need psychiatric help? Probably but it was not the only solution. And that is why I called uou a wuss cause you immediately jumped on the insane wagon. Is it clearer now?
And like Mickronson said. I wouldn't have done something like that cause I know the consequences I would've had. And my father never laid a hand on me. But he also taught me respect, and to be a decent person. And even though he never laid a hand on me I know that had I done something like that. Then I would have hoped to be locked up in jail forever cause the treatment I would've had would've been worst.

See at 15 you know the difference between right and wrong. If you do not know it by then you never will and if you do not know it then you should be locked up forever especially when you do shit like this. Whenever soebody does something wrong they always plea for fucking insanity or you have people like you saying they need psychiatric help. In this case no he doesn't. Someone owed this kid 40$ and he tohought this is how I'll get my revenge, I'll set him on fire. And the way it was done those kids can't say it wasn't premeditated. Do you walk around with a bottle of rubbing alcohol? I don't. They knew what they were doing. Would you say that Manson or Dahmer didn't deserve jail that they only needed psychiatric help? Granted those kids may not be serial killers but they are sick. Would I give em psychiatric help? Yes. Would it be the only thing I'd do? Hell no! Like I said they need to be made an example of. I'd lock em up for a real long time. So no psychiatric help is not the only option. Stop being a wuss. You do the crime you do the time. If they were 5 I'd agree. 15. Gimme a fucking break!

It would only make things worse. Don't be an idiot.
Psychiatric care is the only option since these persons are NOT well.
I'll get back to my socialistic life now.
Psychiatric help seems to be the answer to everything now and it isn't. And I'm a social worker. Trust me. These kids need to do hard times cause they'll only do worst.

Communist China wrote:having the parents beat the hell out of their kids is not a solution.
May not be a total solution, but it would help.
It'd definitely be a start. I'm sorry but these kids need to be made an example of. Too often you see kids commit horrendous crimes like this and they get nothing cause they are minors. I mean come on! Setting someone on fire for 40 friggin dollars! And yes the parents are partly to blame in this. Truth hurts but that's the way it is. The parents should get something as well. But definitely would give those kids quite a lot of few years in jail. At 15 you're supposed to know better than this.

Ok. Yesterday me and my wife we go to do groceries. We get in the car and the radio is on. November Rain is playing and I just put on a cd of Tragically Hip instead. My wife looks at me shocked so I asked her what was wrong. And she points out that I just turned off a GNR song. And I just shrugged my shoulders and said Oh well. And it made me think. Perhaps I am sick of GNR right now. Nothing is happening. Played the old albums till I was blue in the face. And while CD is not a horrible album I haven't listened to it all that much. And more importantly even though CD is out radio stations still would rather play old stuff. And when I come here I only take a quick glance of the GNR stuff to see if there is something important enough. And there is never anything noteworthy. And the shows they have planned leave me indifferent mostly cause well they will happen at the other end of the world. Anybody else feels this way? And my GOd I just created a topic that is worthy of another forum. I will go wash the feeling away.

Well in his defense I'd be all over her too but that's a whole different story.

Axlin08 wrote:A reunion has more of a chance than a second album.
I disagree with that....we know Axl has a second album, he says he always considered it a double, and as we discussed in the other thread, historically he's often talked of staggering releases of new music over a few years begining with one album.
I'm not saying a second album will happen soon, as it seems logical that he'd tour first and maybe do something to push this album more, but it's not like he'd be recording a new record from scratch either.
Meanwhile on the reunion front he's said he'll die first. You tell me which is more likely? We know a 2nd album pretty much exists. I doubt it will happen in the short term, but I wouldn't say it will never happen.
And you believed him when he said that?

Also please note. Your reaction faldor is much like a battered wife syndrom. Why is it fun to be a (insert any band name here) fan? And let's admit that being a GNR fan well.....
