stop relying on Somthing Awful for news. That website is full of fakes and attention whores. they're all obviously "Goons" trying to find a laugh at our demise. I know that, because i have a bunch of goon friends. one of which posed in that thread saying he was a tester.

He could have possibly said that because he was nervous. I tend to do that too. Someone asked me about a play at school i was helping out with, and i said "Cant talk about it right now" when i wanted to say "its going to be awesome"

according to the video, the single will be released in September, with a release date, and possibly a performance at the VMA's. am i understanding this right?

Well, if you didn't know. Harmonix is working with MTV to produce Rockband, so there's a link there. I don't think he's pulling the VMA rumor out of his ass. i think he knows atleast that GNR are in talks to play at the VMA's
