I bought one of their albums for cheap after reading some good things about them, and Ithought it was pretty ordinary. I ended up selling it a month or so later. I can't remember which one it was, but it had a purple coloured sleeve.
Might have to give them another chance.

I couldn't seem to find another topic that existed about this, nor am I sure if this should be in the Sport section, so feel free to move this to the right section if need be.
Anyway, I started up back at the gym at the beginning of June and so far I've lost 3 kilos.
I'm pretty proud of myself. I've been working pretty hard, around 4 nights a week doing mostly cardio classes (where you do boxing and kicking stuff) as well as using general cardio machines like cycling and the treadmill.
I want to start getting into weights soon too, but want to lose my beer belly first!
Anyone else want to share some of their 'getting fit' secrets?

I think it looks really cool. It looks like a fingerprint, then you realise it's actually one of those old magnetic field tests we did back in science class in school. AND a return of the old logo!
I saw a recent interview with James Hetfield and he talks a bit about the title saying that it's a bit of a tribute to fallen fellow musicians (Layne Staley etc) and also how some people are attracted to death (hence the magnetic reference). Apparently 'death' is a common theme throughout the album.
I'm pretty fucking excited about this. Sounds like it's gonna be epic.

Had a listen, and I really like the music, but the vocals didn't do much for me at all. The lead guitar stuff sounds REALLY good, you did a great job there.

There have been so many people coming and going from GN'R over the years, getting a solidified 'group' shot would be quite difficult... hehehe
This is pretty big news though - an actual official release of new music from GN'R.
It's a smart move to aim at all the young gamer kiddies too. Definitely good exposure for them.
I find it funny though, a few years ago I would've been REALLY excited about news like this, but now I'm just like yeah, whatever...

That was quick, I was just on there about 20 minutes ago to see if the official site had any mention of it and there was nothing.
Looks like wheels are finally in motion. Can't say I'm all that excited though really.

I still think VR should go with John Corabi and put out a killer bluesy heavy rock album.

I'll be sure to check it out, I always like to support good Aussie rock!
What do you guys sound like anyway?
