I like both songs. I don’t think Slash or Duff are on these. My 2 cents.

OMG at Rock In Rio III was extremely badass imo. Band looks great, Buckethead and Finck crush it... everyone crushes it tbh. Good song. End Of Days version isn't nearly there...
The song is old but it would be great to get a new cut (or a bunch of different versions...)

When visiting the site during the last 6-12 months... been getting a certificate warning from my browser, picture below. I skip around the warning and I'm not concerned.... but I did want to make the administration aware. Am I the only person running into this? Thank you.
PS. For what its worth I use the brave browser (based on chromium engine which google chrome uses.)
PPS. This is the only website the warning appears on (that I use regularly)

If things have calmed down during the Biden administration it is because the news and various entertainment industries have dialed back on agitating the populace... during the Trump admin the news had people truly believing WW3 was imminent with Iran after Soleimani was killed, that a nuclear confrontation with North Korea was imminent due to tweets, that Trump was a Russian agent about to unleash a fascist dictatorship. I'm sure there are a bunch of other ones that are long forgotten now. The public was bombarded with scandal after scandal of life or death proportions... of course they wanted "normalcy." But what do you know, in the end... no new wars, Trump was not a Russian agent, didn't declare a dictatorship... and nothing happened.
Meanwhile we are now involved in a proxy war with Russia sending billions to Ukraine np... news doesn't try to agitate people with it. Inflation up like crazy... costs of energy, housing, etc way up. No real spotlight or criticism from the media so life goes on. & If there is negative press its not directed at the administration. If the Hawaii fire situation or Ukraine, etc happened under Trump...
Most people focus their attention on what the news chooses to spotlight and it can choose to spotlight things in a negative way or a positive way (or not spotlight certain topics at all) to agitate or calm the population respectively when it fits their needs. There is always "alternative" media and not everyone is "borged" but a surprising amount of people autopilot according to what media presents to them...

I had a dream last night that I logged in here and listened to The General. It sounded good. Hopefully a good omen

I want this version of Chinese Democracy a few here have that apparently has "phenomenal" production and mixing. I'm really missing out.
On the version I have, the cut/paste in the songs is so noticeable it is jarring to the listener. Even if your ears decide to just go with the flow, you have to deal with Tommy being mixed out of the songs while Ron is tossed right on top of the songs.
How is this phenomenal?
Yeah I know...the master of masters did the mastering. I don't care.
Something is wrong when earlier versions of your songs sound better. All they needed was a final mix and master and it's ready to go.
well said sir.
Can’t wait for this track to hit! We’re almost in October baby!

The weak link on CD to me is of course the mixing... just sounds awful compared to some of the demos. CITR has an amazing demo... sounds shit on the album. CD and The Blues sound great on 2002 soundboards... awful on the record.
TWAT and TiL are horrible songs on the album (imo) but I'm sure they started off as good tracks.
Mixing makes a huge impact on the feel of songs...
FINALLY Perhaps sounds like someone *took the time* to mix it... I hope The General follows the same path. Either way I'm excited to hear the song, as I was TWAT and TiL... I am harsh on those songs but it is what it is. Still glad they got released. Just thinking outloud.

Not sure how the jukebox version sounded but the music video version sounds much better than the demo Perhaps. Nice job GNR!

Someone recently gifted me a pellet grill and I feel retarded for waiting SOOO long to get into it. I always felt there would be a steep learning curve but a pellet grill is literally plug and play….
Been fun cooking stuff that wouldn’t have worked on a skillet.

Maybe Chinese Democracy an AR experience avant-garde art piece and all of our forum posts and speculation over the last 30 years has been a part of it. Axl is doing what no other artist thought possible. Creating a REAL experience other art can only hope to invoke. XD
Crazy to think it’s been this way since I was in middle school XD. The one thing in life that hasn’t changed is CD and new material speculation
