I asked, because its came up before and would be extremely easy to fake. 4 Heavens ect was not included in msl's original 2nd cd track list years ago (the one that included Tonto)
Maybe he can answer whether this 4heavens thing is supposed to be real, because that retrospective image is proof of nothing.

I guess the spelling of Nothin' speaks to it's legitimacy but there are a lot of questions.
Also there was a fan forum called 4heavens before the leaks.
Why is the cd2 tracklist nowhere to be found online before 2019 ?
Why didn't @mistersaintlaurent mention the full tracklist in his statements, it would've only given him more leverage.
I hope more people chime in so we can get a clear answer on this.

Circus Maximus has never been confirmed to be connected to Ides Of March and should not be postulated as such. It's just a theory.
Until any song is officially released is it ever truly confirmed ?

Unless Axl wrote multiple songs based on Ancient Rome it seems to be a good theory.
You might be right, but 2 things;
Remember how we thought Me and My Elvis was Elvis Presley and the Monster of Soul (which was renamed Monsters?) Well clearly it wasn't. Just 2 different tracks that had the words Elvis in the title. Unless it turns out Monsters isn't Soul Monster - which again would further prove the point anyway.
Also the track was supposedly called Ides of March in 98 on conception. I suppose they could have renamed it Circus Maximus in 2000 then changed the back in the early 00s to Ides again, but still... (see chinese whispers].
The definition of the word Monstrosity which appears on the cd2 tracklist is Monster.
The track Soul appears on the cd2 email track list too.

@m.b4402 Yes. This song was about the french drummer and actor François-Alexandre Galepides alias Moustache, died in 1987. The chorus has samples from 'Two For The Road', a 70's film (Galepides played a role on it).Brain and the band at the time loved sampling old movies in songs (from the 70's) they were working on & intros both in studio and live (The joint shows).. It seems like something somebody might claim if they wanted fans of that era to believe them.
Oh well, that would make sense. I noticed Brain said to me that Seven has Ben Hur in it, so it would fit in. We'll maybe never know
But that's Circus Maximus which was Ides of March.

Much? Also I’m sure there were plenty of remake sessions but a discarded overhaul of 2004 that’s news to me.The was a French drummer called Moustache who died in 1987.
He starred in the 1970s version of Zorro, and the 70s movie is seen by some as the definitive version of Zorro
And, Zorro was regarded as bringing the bandana look into fashion for people that wore them
Whether any of it is true I don't know and the chance of Axl knowing about a French jazz drummer and occasional actor is potentially quite slim, but who knows
Interesting and i agree with you that it's a reach, But does anyone understand the thought process Axl Rose has ?
There's a track called the Curly Shuffle for instance if we are looking for similarities for absurd song title inspiration.

Really cool instrumental from the village disc but your analysis seems spot on.
