So Loaded played London last night on their tour. They played in a small-ish venue, and were deafening!  Pretty packed crowd and atmosphere was v good/upbeat etc.  The Loaded songs came over very well live, it was great seeing Duff on lead vocals and guitar.  He talked to the crowd a fair bit, seemed very relaxed and having a good time. Threw in some good GnR tracks: So Fine, Dust n'Bones (fkn brilliant!) and It's so easy. Also played Attitude, I wanna be your dog, New Rose (joined by guitarist Brian James from the Damned) and 10 Years from Believe in Me album.
Met them afterwards, nice guys - seemed to be thoroughly enjoying the tour, Duff was chatty and very patient with my ramblings!  5

classic - am sure he would have had a laugh - think of all their pranks in so many hotels across the world... i think LZ wrote the book on debauchery!
really appreciate any heads up and my eyes are most certainly peeled!

i first met slash before a snakepit vsn 1 gig in glasgow - he was really friendly to the few that were there and hung around chatting for quite a while. Someone was wearing a Guns t-shirt and kept turning around showing him Illusions UK tour dates and saying "where was scotland -eh?" too damn bloody right!

Scabbie, thank you.  it would be a dream come true. I fkn love LZ - wish i'd got in to the 02 gig.  Have seen Robert play a few years ago and had the pleasure of meeting Jimmy a while back too (I was horribly starstruck and came across as a total tit I'm sure!)  If I had a time machine I'd def pop back to see Zep playing in their heydey...

#39 Re: Guns N' Roses » A re-post from MyGNR, A GN'R fan convention » 886 weeks ago

I'd def be up for it.  Have thought about hiring a place out in London for a CD release party for years - if there was a Gunners "do" - I think it would be a good laugh.  there are people all over so having it in a couple of places makes sense - could even do a screen link-up to the other parties.  maybe james could design some hats!
