Would be wasteful. Why waste that buzz?
Unless they're shadow dropping an entire album, I expect they'll just let this one song breath for a minute first.

So I assume no album this fall. They wouldn't really make Silkworms their lead single for a full album, would they?

This song will always be a love it or hate it song.
He ain't no typical casual....he was with me at the Shoreline July 91 and went to the Buckethead show with me 10 years ago.
It's a total marmite song. This new version is growing on me but I'm not sure if it's stockholm syndrome.

We already know from Stinson how many finished/near finished tracks they have after CD's release.....

I believe him....and the Village Leaks of 20 year old sessions reinforces his comments.
22 + the 14 on CD = 36
36 / 3 = 12.
There’s your trilogy. Three albums averaging 12 songs on each.
It may not have all been bullshit and if you look at how sketches in 2000 like Shackler become full songs in 2008, there’s even potential for a few more than 22 by this stage.
And we may be finally heading to the launchpad

I’m resigned to one day getting Covid. I’m fully vaxxed now and will get my booster shots each year but eventually one year I’ll probably get it. Hopefully by then it’s mutated down to be less dangerous and boosters help make it manageable and survivable.
The reopening in the west has probably been rushed and that’s due to bad public health messaging but can’t unfuck those mistakes. Are where we are and at least here in the U.K. we’ll have fully vaccinated most 18+ within a few weeks and be on to teenagers and the first round of booster shots. I expect those boosters will be rolled out in the same order as the initial vaccines.
The focus needs to be on helping the poorer parts of the world now so that the economy globally can recover. We are very fortunate to live where we live.
