#3991 Re: Guns N' Roses » Another Baz interview with Axl mentions » 905 weeks ago
I wonder if Axl texted Baz after he first auditioned for VR too?
Funny how he fails to mention his 'loyalty' to Axl then...

Chester sounds pretty good on those songs with them. I wonder if he's being considered as singer for VR...?
It might be a pretty smart move actually, Linkin Park have a pretty big fan base and would definitely bring some over to the VR camp if he was up front.

The title of this thread had me expecting a new Axl letter posted inside or ... something. I could really give a shit what Mysteron has to say, who he really is, or where he comes from. Why don't I just tell you the album's finished and then people can quote me on other forums? "The mysterious 'von,' with his alleged ties to the GN'R camp and general vagueness, stated that the album is in fact finished." I speak that into existence. Carry on.
Hahahaha
So true man. Unless it's coming from the mouth of W. Axl Rose (which even then isn't a guarantee), I don't believe anything from anyone on the net.

I still think someone like John Corabi would be really cool. He's not that well-known, but has been in the industry as long as the rest of them have, so there'd be no clash of egos.
And I still think he helped produce one of Motley Crue's best albums, even if the general public didn't think so.
Check out this Motley song from that album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MY33fw2XCE
He has a cool, low raspy blues voice, and could probably sing Scott's style as well as adding his own touch.
#3997 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Baz: Joining VR would be "really awkward" » 905 weeks ago
where was his loyalty then when he tried out for VR the first time.
That's exactly what I was thinking.
The one good thing with Bach fronting VR, would be their wider choice of GN'R songs to play. Has anyone seen the clip of Baz singing Paradise City with Camp Freddy? That sounds pretty fuckin' cool.
He has a much wider singing range than Scott, thats for sure.

That Dust N' Bones rehearsal sounded great, VR should really consider adding this to their setlist.

Yeah, Matt sings backing vocals live, and he has since the start. I don't know why Scott had an issue with it all of a sudden.
Does that mean he was gonna start having a dig at Slash and Duff too, they sang backing vocals on some songs too?

Slither was a pretty big hit for VR.
