Tell us what you've treated yourself to smile

I bought The Dark Tower VII by Stehen King and Madame Bovary by Gustave Flaubert today.

Also some exfoliating body scrub and cotton buds, true extravagance!

I can't even remember the last time I had fast food!

I'm addicted to the internet.  Even if I have nothing to do online, I will sit with the laptop and just waste time intead of getting off my ass and doing something productive.  I know this won't come as a surprise, but I need help.

I'm the same.  I haven't been online for two days as I've been busy decorating and I was starting to get in a bad mood because of it.  I even felt a sense of relief watching my laptop start up.  God, I can't believe I admitted to that!

And I'm definitely addicted to buying clothes and books but I suppose that's not too weird.

I can't tolerate seeing an empty electrical plug socket with the switch turned on.  I've interrupted meetings at work to switch them off if I've spotted them and will switch them off even in shops or in people's houses.

I have to eat with a particular fork.  I'm not freaky enough to need to take it with me when I eat out (what if I lost it?) but I would turn the house over til I found it rather than use another at home.

I can't stand people being too close to me either.  I probably have a million bizarre quirks but they all seem normal to me, except the plug one.  Even I know it's not normal to practically hyperventilate over a socket big_smile

. But  what kinda sick world do we live in - where you can exclusively see a person for months on end - several times a week - going out to dinner, restraunts, plays, movies, and having a sexual relationship as well and its NOT dating?

Sure sounds like dating to me hmm  Facebook or not, that would have pissed me off too.

And your friend's G/F sounds like a cow.  Even if she was just trying to be honest, she only had to say that she thought you looked better without it.  It's easy enough to do without implying that someone might be ugly.

I took my son to a small Hallowe'en party on Saturday evening, just with some other kids who we meet up with every week, was fun.  I didn't take my camera but one of the other mums took some pics and is going to send them.

I can't imagine how hard having to explain the death of a loved one to a child must be.  Good to know you got through the wake OK, keep being strong babe.
