Honest question:  Does everyone pretty much agree the race is over?  I mean, this could get even worse if more people get it, Kushner, Mnuchin, Ivanka or other Senators or cabinet. Amy Comey Barret is said to have met with many without masks, which if she tests positive it'll bring up a question of judgement and decisionmaking.  If 5-10, 20 DC pols test positive its worse, but in my mind this itself is an embarrassment, worst case scenario, and unsalvageable. I'm seeing some diehards post on FB, and I can't fathom thinking he has a chance.

Feedback?

It was most likely Hope Hicks.

Yeah,, I guess I meant that in reverse too, unlikely she caught it from them.

If it's all a lie it's one of the most overt lies to the public ever surely. I'd imagine it's real. It's a shock it's taken him this long to test positive.

I agree on both counts of course. I did read supposedly they did not release the info, and that it leaked.  I imagine if so, it likely was from people being contact traced, maybe being called saying they were in contact with someone who had it, and it became obvious who that person was. Possibly even once melania was asked to take a test, her handlers leaked it.

So Trump supposedly has covid now.

Will he keep doing rallies?

btw this done wonders for BoJo's approval rating while thousands died in the uk.

Doing rallies?

This could cancel the VP debate and the next Presidential debate?  (J think its abt 2 weeks away)

That aside, barring a hard to believe sympathy vote from mkrons, this is over.

Mitch I just wanna say in an effort of bi-partisanship and solidarity that Rex Tillerson was spot on when he called trump a "moron". Last night was a glimpse into what he saw when dealing with him.

Ivanka might have a chance, but I dunno, a decent pol could probably take her down in a debate. Remember, trump only got this far due to being a dick. Nothing she's done or achieved relates to trumps political success.

I envision Ben Sasse, Creshaw, maybe Rand Paul but he's always a bit to extremist (liberatarian) for GOP primary, and of course Nikki Haley. A gov or two also.

Dems I dunno, Harris will likely step in, Cuomo someone out west. I think The Rock might legit consider making a go of it. Would've loved to have seen him go at it against trump.

trump won't run 2024. He'll be too old, a has been, and likely pardoned by pence Jan 19.
