lulz, that quote sums it all up for Posers N' Roses.
See that's the thing I have never understood. Ron or Tommy or even Richard have never tried to spin us shit about something that clearly isn't true.
I know Axls a dick and a lose cannon for turning up on time. He's a complete and utter tosser for it, but that said I'm not about to blame Ron et al for going on stage late. I can see what's going on. With that in mind why does DJ feel he needs to justify in some BS way as to why they are late and there's production issues etc. Please the band is ready, it's the old cunt that's not!

There is some real comedy in that article:
"Axl is in a position where he doesn't have to be cool with the band but he treats us like gold.
"He lets us write our own solos and gives everybody their time to shine on stage and I think that says a lot about who he is.
He just wants to have a bloody break in between songs if you ask me.
"He has no problem sharing the spotlight, in fact he quite likes it - otherwise he'd be doing this interview and not me."
Haha he lets them do the shit he doesn't want or like doing.
Ashba insists the delays have been caused by production issues rather than arrogance on behalf of Rose, explaining a team of 100 people is co-ordinating the show from backstage.
"We have a huge rig and pyrotechnics so often it's the case of fitting all that into the venue. Our number one priority is to make the shows safe."
Please can we stop with the excuses. Axl is the reason for the majority of the lateness, don't try and serve us this other shit.
What, have GNR just managed to hire the most incompetent road crew night after night year after year. Maybe every other band in the world has taken all the good workers and that's why they can deliver their shows on time, whilst GNR just have what's left, a bunch of numptys working for them?
Please don't insult my intelligence or your own road crew for that matter.

I watched the first part and there was a couple of GN'R mentions, although it sounds like they had quite a few questions but ran out of time (even tho the podcast goes for an hour), so they are doing a follow up podcast to focus on his time with GN'R and Great White etc. I'll try and post that whenever I notice it's done.

Hey Monkey, Metallex and Gibbo, did you see there is a presale on Monday?
#438 Re: Guns N' Roses » Guns n´Roses Australian tour officially confirmed » 694 weeks ago
Cool so it's Rose Tattoo that has replaced The Angels.
Bring on the "Nice Boys" duet with Angry Anderson. Deja Vu to the 2007 Aussie tour!!!

Looks like I have caved into peer pressure and will attend the Perth show. Big group of mates want to go and EXPECT the crazy GNR fan (me) to go, so l'm in.
Gotta say I've been in 2 minds whether to share more of my hard earned with what they are offering (yet again) since I've seen them 3 times in 2007 and again in 2010. It will be a good night out with friends even if it is essentially the same show I've seen so "I'm in"!
Sorry Monkey and Metallex, I travelled to Melbourne in 2007 to catch 2 extra shows but won't be doing it this time!! Maybe the next Slash gig we can hook up again

Me personally I don't really care what he looks like, as long as it doesn't affect his vocals. That said I can't understand how you could not at some point reach a level of unfitness (not saying Axl is there yet) where it affects your singing & performance ability negatively.
Now just because he can wear what he wants doesn't mean I don't have an opinion on his look. So FWIW my opinion is:
Lose the fucken fedora hat, the deviate moustache and the bloody scarff. I don't give a fuck if he's going bald and therefore has to cut his hair. We're all getting older, that's ok. Shit my hair is thinning at 38. Personally to me he looks badass with jeans, t-shirt and a bandanna.
