Sky Dog wrote:Madagascar has a ton of symbolism in the lyrics. It’s a classic Axl song which is easy for him to sing. It’s a no brainer that it is in the setlist. The songs I could do without are Better and Slither.
Better's kinda had its day now that the novelty of seeing Slash and Duff perform it has worn off. I'd swap it out for I.R.S. if it were me in charge of the setlist.
I'd keep Slither if Axl would LEARN HOW TO SING THE FIRST FUCKING VERSE and stop doing the high vocal line in the chorus. Failing that, swap it out for another VR song, it'd be nice to have a bit of variety on that score. Fall To Pieces would be nice, but they have more than enough ballads in the set. Set Me Free, maybe?
Sucker train blues. Perfect range for him.

Did Biden launch an air strike at a member of ISIS, or kill a civilian carrying water and his 7 children?
Should get greater attention, no?

Thomas Anderson was reinserted into The Matrix and now works for a video game company who created the hit game, "The Matrix".
I know no one has the complete answer yet (unless you worked on the film), but that sounds to be in direct conflict with the continuity and story of the first 3 films. Anderson/Neo died at the end of Matrix 3. The anomaly he represented was a variance of DNA that was predicted to occur every few centuries or millennia. The idea that a new person would born in the aftermath of the Matrix 3 and look like Keanu and have the same affinity for machine interface is just...absurd (yes, there are multiple levels to this pun). Add Trinity into the mix, and we're talking odds on the order of magnitude of your hand being able to pass through a wooden table because the atomic structure aligns perfectly.
There's a million reasons why they're back, the machines cloning them for some nefarious purpose being the most obvious sci-fi answer. But I don't think the Wachowski's are up to the task of writing a good story that makes sense. Matrix 1 was awesome because we barely knew anything about the real world. Once they added that context in 2 and 3, it just seemed more and more sloppy writing. I'm going to see it, but they've had 15+ years to come up with an awesome script, so anything short of that is a misstep.

I could understand him but HR McMaster and Jack Keen too? Those guys I would say are qualified.
Spicer was a Naval Officer. Yes, they’re political appointees and Biden can do as he wants. But when he appoints some lesbian transgender, ask how they’re qualified to opine on the military academies.

Hmm, any idea on the backstory? Both Trinity and Neo died in Matrix 3 right? So are they saying there are 2 layers to the matrix and the original trilogy was just about escaping the first one? If thousands of years have passed and these are new versions of neo and trinity, why the hell would they have dejavu? I'm going to go see this, but my expectations are very low. I think the Wachowskis struck gold with the first movie and it's been all down hill for them since.

I have no idea what you’re talking about. I don’t know your real name and I’ve never contacted you outside of this forum. If your name is “Joe”, the same first name of our incoherent mouth piece President, I sure as shit didn’t know that. This is exactly what I mean. But if it makes you feel any better, my name is Curt, and I’ve shared that with many people. Call me that anytime you want

Is a complete garbage post where you just dismiss someone without contributing anything. Your contribution is "you're full of shit", and you never bother to qualify a counter opinion. You just pretend you live in an alternate reality where our shared history never happened. I'm saying the antivaccine movement in the later half of the 20th century and into the 21st was led by left-wing nut jobs almost exclusively. Then because Rand Paul, an actual doctor, argues that his antibodies from contracting COVID are stronger than any vaccine (something supported by several studies), you parrot your media talking points that anti-vaxxers are a Republican phenomenon. "Vaccines Cause Autism" was championed among the same folks who claimed 9/11 was an inside job (and history shows you as one of those on this forum) among a plethora of other wacky ideas. I'm not interested in making it partisan, but for you to deny its overlap with left-wing communitarian/hippie types and just dismiss ID's post with "you're full of shit", proves why you shouldn't be allowed to participate in any discussion on current topics. You don't have any idea what you're talking about, and post only to antagonize people who have put in the effort to create an informed opinion, but whose opinion is in violation of the orthodoxy you've outsourced all of your critical thinking abilities to.
It's clear to me you're not interested in reading what any of us actually say, let alone read anything to qualify your own opinions. Just go away dude, you've been banned twice for this shit and it'll catch up with you again. You're in no position to opine on the efficacy of medical treatment for COVID as you've made it apparent you haven't enacted any labor to have basic researched understanding of COVID and how it is transmitted and whom it affects. If you think watching 5 minutes of Chris Cuomo or another yahoo has left you informed, you're sadly mistaken. I'm not advocating any position on this, but you are in no position to mock and dismiss those who have actually read the trials and efficacy stats of anything out there.
I'm actually quite qualified to speak about the autism/vaccine topics...it was one of my chief studies in graduate school. I mean extremely qualified to speak on this topic...but that shit don't matter because you're an expert on everything....so tell us all how it ought to be...
I was actually threatened by Dr. Andrew Wakefield himself...you don't even know who that is though...so whatever....let me know what you're an expert on later....foreign policy, medical science....what is it this week again?
Thanks for proving my point once again you can't read or respond to something someone posted. I never once said you can't "speak about the autism/vaccine topics", but I did say:

What you studied 20 years ago in graduate school or even 5 years ago has no relevance on the various COVID treatments out there (you called it a de-wormer) nor does it qualify you talk about the efficacy of the mRNA COVID vaccines that came out in the past 8 months. Like I said, you haven't read shit, yet you feel qualified to come in here and shit on other people without actually contributing anything to the conversation. Then when called out on it, you change topics and come up with some defense for your behavior. You don't have a clue, Joe. You're just looking for attention. Prove me wrong, stay on topic and contribute something in direct response to ID's post you called bullshit. Flex your graduate studies and inform us on who was the most vocal and claimed vaccines caused autism? Go ahead. Or "yawn" and pretend you have any interest in participating in a discussion and not just finding an outlet for your deranged thinking.

I doubt he even read my post because I made the distinction between Ivermectin that's prescribed by doctors and "horse de-wormer" and that some doctors were prescribing it for Covid. Apparently he misinterpreted my "it's a really bad idea" to take it for an endorsement.
How does anyone not know progressives were pushing the autism belief? One of the biggest is a Kennedy. Rich progressive moms were so anti vaxx at one point they were having homeless people suck lollipops, then they gave them to their kids to build up their immunity.
Yea, it was entirely advocated by Berkley types and the West Coast. Not exactly a bastion of conservatism. Jenny McCarthy and Oprah are known for their staunch support of Republicans.
This nonsense where kids are being used as an excuse for Mask fanaticism is a whole new low. You can pick any major American city, and more black kids have been killed this year from gang violence than children in the entire state from COVID for the entirety of the disease, and we're forcing 8 yearolds to wear masks, greatly harming their socialization and education. Anyone who knows anything about child hood development knows how important facial expressions are, but Mask Nazis wants children covered 24/7, despite the fact more kids died from the flu in 2019 alone than the totality of COVID. It's just a disingenuous risk assessment in complete conflict with everything else they say and preach.

Hey Mitch, did your newsfeed alert you that 4 Taliban prisoners Obama released in exchange for the deserter and dishonorably discharged Berghdahl (who Obama said served with honor and distinction) are now senior leaders in the Taliban? I remember you trying to suggest Trump did this inaccurately, so just curious if your animus to the idea stands or if because it was Obama, you “don’t care”.
