Maybe it's just me, or my radio stations, but I have been hearing "Better" on the radio a lot lately. More than I had before. I guess that's good.

I wonder if Eddie & Dave would allow Axl to go on AFTER VH?
Something tells me VH will be calling the shots in this scenario.
Oh yeah, i dont think Axl would have a whole lot of leverage here. Man, I would love this if it happened.

Remember the Eddie Trunk interview in 2006? I wonder how Axl and DLR would get along. But I would SOOO be at this if it happened!

I went to a Rolling Stones concert a couple years back. Alice Cooper opened. I dont think the Stones needed Alice, but it was a helluva concert. I think Kanye West opened for the Stones on some of those shows too.

Nah, they have a pretty big following of young fans. Their fanbase is really broad.
Just found this:
Exclusive: Paul McGuinness on U2's World Tour
March 04, 2009
Source: Hot Press
Paul McGuinness has been talking to Hot Press about the imminent announcement of U2's world tour, which is likely to include three Croke Park stop-offs in July.
"This is going to be a very big tour, the biggest shows we've ever done," he reveals. "We're going to play stadiums only. Football stadiums. That excludes, for instance, baseball stadiums because the production that we've designed is 360 degrees. It's a stage with the audience on all sides."
Let the speculation and setting up for disappointment begin.
This would be the only way I would ever see U2.

Even a reunited Guns, would need a Metallica, to do a stadium tour imo.
Reunited GNR would work. I agree with your other comments, no way in hell can they do a stadium tour of more than 7 cities tops. The promo with the ORIGINAL badboys from Hollywood would fucking own. Is this just Axl thinking he is something he is not again?
Axl could think anything he wants about himself, which I dont think is the case. It wouldn't matter, with Azoff involved. They wont take on anything that is way above their heads.

The first 2 acts are bigger than new gnr is. Won't happen.
What does that have to do with anything?

Well, IF they are doing a US stadium tour, they HAVE something up their sleeves. NO way with good management like GNR has, would they schedule a stadium tour with just GNR. No way.

A GNR/Metallica tour would work stadium wise. Otherwise, I just don't see any other band that would be "compatible" with GNR, being able to draw enough to warrant a stadium tour. It sure as hell won't be Baz!
