Great audio quality!

Thanx for the updates Gibbo!
Agree with DCK and Mikka.
I thought they were gonna switch it up a little.... Cool as fuck for those at the show, boring and predictable for us fans.
They shouldn't lead us on with these comments on surprises/keeping it fresh etc etc....
I'm getting tired of wasting my time following these shows. They know that many of us are watching the updates come in.
Just put out a tweet saying: "Listen diehards, we're gonna play this one safe as usual. Go about your day!"
Yeah, I know..... Fool me twice, shame on me bla bla bla

This makes no sense.
Whether or not a song makes an album, Slash was writing music for GN'R and it doesn't matter whether it was used or not. When you write a song from conception for the sole purpose for using it in the band you're in, you're writing for said band.
Judging if someone is writing music for a band, only if the music is used on an album, is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.
If Slash was indeed writing for that band, wouldn't that band control the rights for that music? I would think so. If he's just writing music that might be considered by the band, then he's not writing music for the band.
Your whole obsession with the whole situation and not being willing to admit you're wrong is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard.
So when Josh Freese was writing stuff for GNR in the 90's and Axl gave the green light for him to bring it with him to A Perfect Circle giving Axl a mention in the credits, he was actually writing for A Perfect Circle?

Ok. If you want to believe that, feel free.
Oh thank you!

Correct. He pretty much confirms that people are writing stuff. We all figured they were...they are all musicians. Most musicians write stuff. Nothing he said indicates they were together writing stuff for GnR or anybody was writing with him for GnR.
Well, he WAS talking about new music for GnR and SAYS all the guys are writing. To then go to the extreme opposite and conclude that "he pretty much confirms that people are writing stuff" and assume it's not something we should believe untill we hear it on an album with credits proving he/them are telling the truth, seems a little too sceptic. Yeah, I know....history etc etc.
I look at it like this, he's saying straight out that the members are writing stuff for GNR. Some of it may be used and some will prolly go in the vault. Even if the next album is all CD-session material, the songs could have stuff that the current members has written in the last couple of years.

Not really. What's he going to say? What he's not saying is we're writing the next GnR record.
Wasn't it about wether bandmembers were writing for GNR or not?
If I misunderstood the whole argument,

I really liked this interview!
Like I've said before, since the new management took over, things have really moved in the right direction as far as promoting the brand and especially the new line-up. I like that a lot!
All I crave for now is a comment on specific plans for a new release. The way GNR has promoted themselvs during the last year or so, should convince UNI that the band and management WILL play ball during the release of a new album (or a re-release)
This comment kinda puts the argument between Buzz and ID in that other thread to rest: "All the guys are writing..."

Saw this post from Beta over at htgth:
"....The Kimmel staff never spoke with Axl. They were told by me that they could ask whatever they felt it was appropriated. Axl did not want to choose or avoid any issue. Kimmel asked whatever he wanted to ask. His interview was live, so, no editing or retaping. Axl did have a great time. Thank you for watching."
She also said he had a 104 degree temperature. You'll have to forgive me if I don't find her to be the most honest person regarding Axl.
But I find it hard to believe that Kimmel's staff never talked to Axl, or at least management, beforehand. I mean, why else would Jimmy have all the visual aids that he used during the interview? They obviously had to be given to him by Axl/management. So there had to be SOME contact about what to discuss during the interview.
Well, she says in her post that SHE told them they could ask what they felt was appropriate. So I don't see them denying that there was contact between the GNR-camp and the Kimmel-staff. Only that Axl personally never spoke to them.
But then again she COULD have told them that "Axl is agreeing to do the show because he wants to promote the Vegas gigs, so you guys ask him what you feel is appropriate and we'll see if he comes back to your show (wink wink nudge nudge...)"
