I never really liked Def Lepard, always found them pure cheesy and corny. But their drummer losing his arm in that crash and continuing in the band one handed with a customised drumkit is one of the most rock n roll things I've ever heard.

Gimmie Shelter is one of my most favourite songs, never imagined Axl singing it before, but ok aye, that would be cool! The female singer in that song is phenomenal, she blows my mind every single time I hear it.

So do you's think they'll play any dates in May, and what about after August?
Cant see them coming to Europe till next summer, wonder if it'll be a stadium tour as well? But if they are playing stadiums, will they even bother with the festival circuit?

This thread reminded me a few weeks ago I was on youtube pished and I was watching an amazing 91 show, the energy of the band was on another level to other shows. I just searched through my youtube history, and sure enough, Philadelphia Spectrum 91!

I knew Slash wouldnt play that bullshit intro to Better, its horrendous. Its good news for the vault if Slash is prepared to re-jig some of that material, bet Axl wont be half as apprehensive about releasing those songs if Slash has had his wicked way with them.
