The Scooby Doo mystery bullshit got old decades ago. The way that they carry on with this “we can’t say anything” crap, is just fucken dumb now.

Looked/sounded good! Hopefully he makes some more appearances this year.
Looks like he’s put on a hell of a lot of weight since the last tour where he was really slim, and he sounds Mickey as hell.
I’m glad he’s not just sitting around the house, but that was anything but good… lol

I wonder if working with Andrew Watt would do the trick? With Duff talking him up here, maybe it’s the way to go.
As much as I dislike Andrew Watts production style, he’d get in there and kick their ass to get an album out of them. The same way he did for the Stones, Ozzy, and Pearl Jam.
But let’s face it, the hold up is Axl, and I doubt even Andrew Watt could change that.

I still can’t believe GN’R haven’t officially released Monsters, when it’s such a great track. But then again, GN’R have never been known to do things that make sense.

While I’m not sold on all the singers, or the choice of songs, overall as an album, it’s a pretty great listen, with some really tasty lead guitar from Slash.
As for the mix and production? Mike Clink is brilliant. He should be hired to salvage GN’R if they ever intend on releasing a new album.
This stuff sounds light and day better than Absurd, Hardschool, Perhaps and the General.

It seems to be legit.
Duff and Slash are busy with their projects, so I wonder if he’s gonna launch something himself…?
The words on the homepage there “you gotta learn to live and run, or you’ll die trying” is that from an existing song, or is it new?

But yeah, this year is done for - slash is finishing up the 4 Album world tour now, and then releasing his blues album after that, and doing his serpent festival until at least late Aug.
Wouldn't be surprised if there's a second leg at some stage either.
Best we can hope for is some working behind the scenes via email or on breaks to record new GNR stuff.
The fact that Slash and Myles are still touring 4 is almost worse than NITL (almost).
I don’t think it compares at all. SMKC toured most places after 4 was first released, but missed a lot of places too (like Australia), so it’s not as though they were going through the same places all over again (like NITL).
Hence why this tour is actually called “Rest of the World” tour.

I started another discussion about the album here:

Can the mods merge the two discussions?
