If Biden gets everyone out by end of month, this whole fiasco will be forgotten and the media will return to talking about the nuclear explosion that happened at the Capitol in January.

Nah.  That's already been forgotten for the most part.  It's going to be about Covid 19 and how it's over running health care, hospitals and communities  (all true too).

That's where the focus needs to be.  People advocating impeachment are just in lala land as those who wanted it 2 years ago (and again after Trump was out of office).  Democrats aren't going to impeach one of their own, just as Republicans didn't (though the standards of evidence are miles apart in this situation).  Biden isn't going to resign, nor should he.  He fucked up, but I'm tired of people demanding resignation or impeachment because they lost at the ballot.

I agree.  People need to know that you got do some serious heinous shit to get impeached.  I mean this is a major foreign policy fuckup that will probably cost them some seats in 2022.  But as far as impeachment goes, no not even close.  I almost hate the way impreachment has been politicized by both sides.  It's not a witch hunt tool.  It's a last resort thing to me where the President has done a act that is so against whatever the position of the President stands for that you have to get him out of there.

Alright rant over.

I am happy it is going to be run by the same guy that did seasons 1-4. Season 5 was ok but 6-8 minus a little of season 7 were pretty bad with 8 being awful imo

Pretty much in agreement here.  Five was watchable (is that the Julia Styles season?).  Six is godawful and Colin Hanks is a really boring villan.  7 is not as bad as season 6 or 8 because of the Ray Stevenson parts.  Eight is the worst because it was really boring and didn't make much sense at all.  It was a real chore to get through that.

Dexter was definitely a show that had dimminishing value as you went through the seasons.  Honestly, if someone asked me, I would just watch s1-s4 and skip the rest.  You're not missing out much.

Don't damn me has one of my favorite Slash solos.

On the one point you sort of made, Trump is being heavily criticised for the deal he made, now that folk understand the implications of it. He is being held accountable. Biden is being held more accountable because the admin he is in charge of executed this plan.

Yeah, I don't think Trump (or any other past president really) should escape critcism for this disaster but Biden is the one in charge and implementing the policies (or not).  I mean the US just seems less organized and more chaotic than other countries, just on a visceral level.  And that is not even considering all the other aspects of it.

This is awful.  At some point, there needs to be a bipartisan Congressional Investigation into how the fuck this spiraled into Hell on Earth.

I wish we had a VP with actual experience and who had some respect.

I'd say let Biden sit at home in his rocking chair and the VP could run things like Cheney.

Yeah, you're right.  Biden who voted for the Iraq war and served on the various committees like Foreign Affairs and Armed Services, so he should have a clue about this stuff.  He's no neophyte.  He's a hawk.  Disappointing really.

Instead, this shit is coming off like amateur hour.

It isn't that he doesn't consider CD or those lineups GNR.

It's like I've said before... even before the shindig got underway....

They are in the process of retconning the Chinese Democracy years.

We see it with the Absurd songwriting credits with GNR as a catch-all for everything...new song titles for old songs which will continue...no mention of CD members, such as "Here's a new one written by Mother Goose and Mr. Dizzy Reed" a la Silkworms at Rio....

They'll take it another step when the album comes out.

It's like they picked up where they left off in 1993....a massive touring machine consisting of the Big 3 and an assorted cast of characters that eventually needs a product in stores to grease the wheels.

I don't really see a problem with it.

The ship sailed and sunk looooong ago on CD and any followups being anything like they should've been 2000-04.

That chapter is permanently closed...and this is the only way this upcoming material was ever going to be released.

I really find his comments back in 2001 regarding Slash apologizing publicly and he can contribute to a few CD tracks funny in hindsight.

The idea of the old guard coming back in was already in his head in the early phase of the project.

We're damn lucky that we're going to get it. This stuff was going to rot without Slash and Duff coming back.

Weird aint it?  That at some point he always wanted Slash to return and work on the CD tracks.  Anyway, they should retcon those CD years.  It became a punchline and an embarrassement, just the entire project and the name of it.

I have no problem with this either.  Other bands have glossed over stuff like this.  Van Halen almost never mentions the album with Gary Cherone.  Pretty sure Motley Crue barely mentions the album they did without Vince Neil.

I actually don't blame Trump too much on this one.  From what I remember, he wanted to pull out troops too. It's just FUBAR'ed and we just need to get the fuck out of there with minimal loss of life at this point.  And Biden is the guy in charge right now and it falls on him, rightly on wrongly.
