There may be inconsistencies with what the others have said, but at the end of the day, they all point the finger at one guy - some more forcefully than others, but still pointed at the same guy.  So you think Slash, Duff, Izzy, Matt, Gilby, and every manager that's spoken about their experience in GnR is wrong and Axl is right?  I'm going to have to go with the majority on this one until PROVEN otherwise.

Axl has been consistent because all he's ever said is "I hate Slash for what he keeps doing to me" or "it wasn't my fault, it's (insert name here)'s fault" - it's pretty easy to be consistent if that's all you have to say.

Glass Houses and The Nylon Curtain almost made my list.  I could do without the other 2.

This is going to be difficult...a lot of great albums (in my opinion) left off the list and after UYI II, they can probably change rankings depending on the day I set up the list.

1   Use Your Illusion II - Guns N' Roses
2   Ten - Pearl Jam
3   Dookie - Green Day
4   Use Your Illusion I - Guns N' Roses
5   Thriller - Michael Jackson
6   Pretty Hate Machine - Nine Inch Nails
7   More Than You Think You Are - Matchbox Twenty
8   Monster - R.E.M.
9   Nevermind - Nirvana
10 American Idiot - Green Day
11 Yourself or Someone Like You - Matchbox Twenty
12 New Adventures in HiFi - R.E.M.
13 Pump - Aerosmith
14 Jagged Little Pill - Alanis Morrisette
15 Appetite for Destruction - Guns N' Roses
16 White Album - The Beatles
17 The Marshall Mathers LP - Eminem
18 IV - Led Zepplin
19 The Colour and the Shape - Foo Fighters
20 Faith - George Michael

Some people are way too quick to make excuses for Axl.  Don't bother, he has plenty of his own and doesn't need or want your help.

It really tells you how much the original band was loved and how little people care about this version.

You can't say with any certainty that it didn't hurt the team.  Jeter is great at making the heads up play, but he's one of the worst defensive SS in baseball.  He made average plays look like great plays because he lacks the range of other SS - the stats prove this.  The play where he dove into the stands is a routine reach into the stands for most SS.  You could make a case that the Yankees could have won a WS with ARod at SS and Jeter at 3rd, you CAN'T make a case that they could have won one with Jeter at SS and ARod at 3rd.

Again, I have nothing against Jeter, but it is what it is.  The Yankees biggest problem is their loyalty to Yankee mythology or whatever you want to call it.  So what if Jeter's the captain?  That's a bigger reason why he should have made the move, not why he should have stayed at SS.

I don't have a problem with Jeter, but ARod was by far the better SS, so if Jeter was such a class act, he should have moved for the good of the team.  I don't blame him for not moving, but he can't be sainted either.  He's as guilty as anyone else of having an ego, he just hides his better.

Jeter is the tenth captain in the teams history. He was brought up from their farm system. Jeter is and will ALWAYS be the Yankee shortstop til he retires. No one is better in the clutch than Jeter has been the past ten years. There was no need for him to move.

Isn't the other player being a better SS reason enough?  You can't captain from 3B or the OF?

Axl jumped out of a car Slash was riding in when he didn't like something Slash said before the band made it big.  I highly doubt that anything Axl could have done would have stunned Slash.

People see what they want to see.  It's why eyewitness accounts are always taken with a grain of salt.

I didn't say what the general public wants mattered, I just answered her question of why it was being dwelled on.
